Hold on, Rune pages are on sale 2 for 1 - Why wasn't this ANYWHERE ON THE LEAGUE WEBSITE OR CLIENT?

EDIT: It's posted now - under the May bundles. Thanks! Still would have liked advanced notice though, as a lot of people seem to have not had the IP ready for it.

And to clarify, by in the client I mean the main page. Obviously it has it in the store.

I just happened to look in the store and noticed a top seller was 2 rune pages for 6300 IP.

I mean, that's the sale. The 2 for 1 sale. The sale that comes once or twice per year, and is one of the best sales in the game. I have 10 rune pages, all 8 of the ones I've purchased have been from these sales.

So, why didn't I see it advertised anywhere? A little digging said a Rioter commented about it on Reddit, but seriously, come on guys! You have your own website, which I check EVERY DAY. I mean, I can understand theorycrafting and experimental content and stuff not being advertised on your site, but** in game sales should really be a news item on the front page.**

So an FYI for anyone who was waiting - rune pages are on sale, 2 for 6300 IP, right now. I'm not sure for how long.

I don't have 6300 ip because I didn't know the sale would be coming this month and I wanted to get Aussie last month. :(

I've missed 2 of these sales already because Riot tends to give either no notice or a couple day notice for things like this. Not going to have enough for this one either.

The point is to catch you entirely by surprise so when you do notice you have to spend RP on those runepages.

Whoever is supposed to be publicizing this is incompetent. I've been waiting all fucking year to buy rune pages. And don't see it anywhere. Someone should be fired. And it's not like it costs riot a goddamn thing to give us rune pages. Just cut the price in half already.

This might be the "Mid-Season Kickoff Sale". (A term that I just made up.) Seeing it's pretty close to midseason, they might be giving us the "ranked essentials sales" that they normally give at the end or beginning of a season. So along with Rune Pages being two-for-one, IP boosts, XP boosts, and Summoner Name changes are 50% off.

Also, something to note is that they haven't made a post about the May Bundles, even though there's a page in the shop about them. I'm guessing the guy who makes the webpages (should be WizardCrab, unless that has changed) is a bit behind on schedule, but I'm sure he'll get through sometime!

Oh please, they're not that greedy. They have shown in the past that they are very open about their sales. They always post the free rotation, the early sales, the bundles, the season sales, and the skin and champion sales. WizardCrab is probably just a bit behind on his work schedule.

If they were really that greedy, they wouldn't have given us a sale at all.

How many of us still have refunds, honestly. I used them all on champs back in season 3. The Regrets.

(I mean as long as you don't have Thresh under your match history since you bought him, you could claim that you "accidentally" bought him and send in a support ticket, it works)

Well if you used all your refunds that sucks. I'd ask for a refund since there was no announcement for this. I know I saw it on accident when going to go but Ekko and definitely glad I got the rune pages. Now I just need runes lol.

This deal is the reason I have 20 runepages despite not really needing more than 5 in practice. Every year or half year or so I've felt compelled to burn my ip on this since it's a limited time offer and I might need them eventually, but now I sit on max runepages for no reason.
