Probably not a good idea to try to save a champion who has more mobility than you
Just saying... they may have a plan to escape. You're just trapping yourself.

I know! ... I just keep forgetting :(
I used to try to save people as Sion.. pre rework Sion.
So you mean take all of their kills?
saving them the trouble.
By going in and 1v5 pentakill the enemy + restore your teammate's health to full.
R

ima a huge sion main, i still refude to take a look at his pre rework footage
I was a huge Sion main, I now refuse to play him.
's lantern would like to have a word with you... :P
Pro Tip, throw it in front of them and then run away, don't walk up and throw it on them, because it will go over them and they have to back click to get on it, plus it puts you both closer to the enemy.
Who walks closer to them then throws the lantern... that's a little counterintuitive
I used to do that :/ Thought it would be a good idea to put the lantern on top of my ally, instead of put it in front of them.
Every single Thresh I play with down here in Silver.
I only do it to get in range. I usually try to throw it 2-3 champion models ahead of them
I can't even count the amount of times this happened to me on J4 when I had my Q W E and ult up, and flash, blue smite, jungle plant, etc. They come to "save me" and then die... while I'm just dicking around in the enemies face with like 80% of my hp left or purposely making them chase me to waste time for my teammates to get an objective.
I was fine.
Sometimes they even blame me for it "you got caught out, wtf... i came to help you retard" And my response is a facepalm, because you honestly can't even get through to people that dumb with basic logic.
What objective? The only objective they could get reliably w/o the jgler are turrets.
The most important objectives..
The jg objectives are more important to secure leads, especially early on. Best example being herald.
If you're fed enough to dick around with that many people and live, you should be grabbing herald/baron or the drags
but we dont know if this is early OR late game, if the entire team is chasing him it MAY be late
That's why I said herald/baron or the drags.
Elemental drags if early, elder if late Herald if early, baron if late.
They're all much better than turrets, especially when ahead.
As he said, he could tank like 2-3 people and still live with 80% hp, meaning he was ahead. Due to J4's fall off, he should be snowballing his team, either by ganking/assisting them in fights, or getting objectives. In this case, he's doing neither.
First. Why are you getting so serious over a simple story...
Secondly. Early or late game lets say the J4 was splitting and the entire 5 man gank happens to him ,but he gets out because he is in fact, fed, if you blame him for not getting a drag when you have 4 free people to do it then that is just bronze thinking.
Thirdly. IMO Drags and baron are only situationally impactful, sure having drags is very good ,but if you are doing that over getting towers you will eventually lose in this very hard in this 20 min game meta, sure having baron helps push a lot ,but if you have 2-3 inhibs down you can still kiss that game goodbye because unless the other team are full of complete idiots there is no way you will come back on them.

Stop bandwagoning

unless it's lee sin or kat and they need someone to jump to! (though at this point you still may be trading your life for theirs.)
What about Braum, Rakan, or Jax? D;
Fuck them they're not important, obviously.
You seem like a rioter too me.
Damn, obviously the name gave it away.
That and how your statement is the sum of riots attitude to the biggest and longest lasting community concerns compared to riot giving a weak support 5% stronger slow it being strong for a weak then nerfing the slow 8% 2 second longer cooldown and 30 base damage off at level 5 of the spell.
I guess I forgot about those guys :(
BUT MY SUPPORT INSTINCTS SAY I HAVE TO HELP THEM ALL!
What you're saying is true.
Depends...
If the Lee Sin needs me for his W, or me to CC an enemy for a short period, then I'll do it
I swear I wish people would stop trying to help me deep push a lane as Singed. You're going to die and I'm gonna live, don't expect me to bail your dumb ass out when 5 people predictably collapse on us.
When they come to save you when you're fine and then they get trapped. So you go and save them and you both die.
The amount of times I've played singed, where I'm running from the entire enemy team, and my jungler decides to run halfway across the map to save me, just to be blown up, while I would have escaped regardless, is too damn high
Plot twist: it's the same jungler with different accounts, he just has a strong crush on you. Dying for you is his way of saying he wants to.....PORK!!
Circumstantial
Circumstantial
Yes, everything is circumstantial. But for the people below diamond, they'd probably be better off blindly following the rule than trying to discern when to do it themselves. In general I'll not try to save a single person unless I think we can turn and win the fight, or I'm mobile enough to save them AND get out myself (i.e. I want them to turn on me instead).

It's quite rude when you make the "people below diamond" point to a silver player, so I'm not beyond taking this as an insult. Mobility doesn't make up for both player reaction and position. You could be an MF, and still very well be in a position where that mobility means jack. Same goes for those that have skills which actually act as a means of escape.

Sorry, I'm only gold myself. I didn't mean it as in "you're not capable of thinking that way".
I meant it as in, even when we think it's a good idea to do this, it may not be. Further, even if it was a good idea for that situation, it's possible your gold/silver teammates will see you going to save them (and you can get out safely) but follow up as well (expecting it's either a fight or trying to help too) and THEY die. In diamond you can trust your teammates to know why you're going there to help someone, in silver probably not.
Again, I don't know. It wasn't meant as a "most people are dumb" so much as a "this is something a lot more difficult and complicated than it seems - while I agree it's circumstantial the rule will outperform 90% of player's judgment the majority of the time".
Sort of like how just owning the S&P500 outperforms 85% of "professional" investors portfolios over long time periods.
And than they can use you as a scape goat. "I died cause tahm kench ate me".
Who didn't die when tahm kench ate them?
It was a while ago, but it was after ezreal used his e to tower dive and we got counter ganked.
Wow. I never thought about that. Then again most of the people I die trying to save are not much more mobile than me.
Just don't say you main Yas and Riven so there are no more mobile people...
Never once played either of those champs. And if one of them gets caught out, they're on their own.
Yasuo is no where near as mobile as Riven all the time fyi.
The big difference is Yasuo cannot use his mobility to escape except in certain situations. Riven just spams her 4 dashes to pussy out of the few trades she loses.
On
with ult up. 850 range unstoppable leap, hyper fast and durable. Team dives to save me...
On
need I say more
right??
