Guardian angel giving adaptive damage? Thoughts?

What if instead of Guardian Angel being an AD only item it's the only item in the game that gives either AD or AP in the same way the new runes do.

I know champions like Malphite could abuse the crap out of an item like this (giving AP AND Armor) but c'mon, AP's need some new items, they lack the gigantic item pool that AD's get and they don't have the same number of resistance items that AD's have (AP's=Zhonya's(armor), AD's= Mercurial Scimitar, Edge of Night, Maw of Malmortius(MR))

It kind of make's sense, so maybe after Preseason it would be a good idea to look into GA giving either AD or AP instead of just AP.

Edit: Oh and let's not forget the fact that there is a now a non-keystone rune that grants MIni Hexdrinker at level 1.

Then tanks would rush it 2nd item and make games boring.

Literally, the same reason it was changed into a bruiser item.

Nullifying Orb is shit though.

Also AP champions have Hourglass and Veil.

AD champions, despite your listing, have almost no variety. ADCs are the only buyers of Merc. Assassins are the only buyers of Edge of Night. Bruisers are generally the only buyers of GA.

But there's no reason for those to be, AD champs already have alternatives to Banshee's because they can build into Mercurial or Edge of Night(even though it's a shit item)

Also, Zhonya's is pretty pointless, if you use it when your low health you just end up waiting 2.5 second's where you can't do a damned thing and die afterwards. GA is much more useful because it's a way for Carries to die and come back to life, if your team properly protects you it can be a game changer AND it gives armor as well. Zhonya's would be worth it, if it gave more stats but unfortunately it doesn't because it got nerfed. There are AP carries too and they deserve the same treatment that AD Carry's have.

And AP champs already have Banshees and Zhonyas.

Only to die right after since you cant do a damned thing just like Zhonyas.

Zhonya's would be broken. It is literally an invincibility button. It invalidates entire classes of champions just by being in your inventory and has way more uptime than GA.
