To you bronze adc mains

I want you to realize a few things

  1. a support will go 1/10/30 DO NOT flame them about their kda because a support works from assists so it would be like an adcs 30/10/1. GET THAT CLEAR
  2. Learn how to time your heals. I have had too many adcs heal after i died despite having it the entire time from an all in .
  3. Stop being cancer. We start muting you from the second we start the game if us supports feel like you will be toxic in the slightest. Just stfu and don't tell us what to build because we know what we are doing.
  4. In q, DO NOT say "WE NEED TANKS FFS GGEZ" because that makes us want to go support top lane instead. Let us play how we want to play, it is bronze, we don't NEED shit. Yours Truly, Supports

  1. No, 10 deaths is unacceptable for both supports and ADc's. 30 assists is great in a normal game, but 30 assists isn't equal to 30 kills. One janna shield in a teamfight will net you 5 assists on an ace.
  2. Summoners are to be used to create an advantage. If you get blitz grabbed and gibbed instantly, there is little advantage to be gained by using it, so it'd be logical to conserve.
  3. Many times I've given supports suggestions like "Play up in lane" or "Stop trying to set up the minions, I can do it myself". Would you define that as cancer? Many supports in gold do lol :P
  4. Sure that's a bit extreme, but a good tank line means a safe carry. With the nerfs to defensive items we're a lot more fragile. Asking for a player to play tanks instead of having 4 carries isn't something ignorant.

There's an incessant circlejerk that all ADc's are toxic little shitheads. Bot lane is about synergy and without a proper understanding of the support role, it's a one-wheeled bike. Buy sighstone first item, the vision is crucial. Build what the best players build (pros), they understand the role much better than you do.

Not all Adc's are within this stereotype, and it sorta sucks being an ADC main and coming to the boards and seeing all the "ADc's all suck" and "Supports are the best players on a team".

You done got triggered. It is mostly a joke that adc mains are shitheads. Most of you aren't. It's just that another player has to deal with you the whole game if you are, so they are gonna make a bigger deal about it. Also, supports aren't the best player on the team, but I have noticed that they are generally nicer. And when you say that supports tell ad 'a what to do, I feel that it is generally in the form of a request/mild order, whereas an adc asking generally turns out to be something like: God dam it blitz, buy a fucking _____. Whig is not so polite

Notice, I said generally a lot. So these statements are not for all adc's or supp's. Just a lot of them

Triggered? That seems like an extreme take on me saying "it sorta sucks". There are many posts like these, and where in this post is there indication of this being satire?
I just replied with my take on those points as someone not in bronze, not an angry rant and hopefully it comes off as such.

I'm not saying supports are best but at low elo adc is super frustrating. It seems to be the most "new to ranked" experience next to jungle on the player base. Btw I'm a terrible adc lol. I get so focused on watching enemy champs that I screw my own cs up a lot.

It's not an intrinsically hard role in terms of mechanics, but the raw positioning foresight that seperates shitty ADc's like me in gold and Challenger ADc's like Doublelift by a mile. You're so fragile yet you depend on your team to protect you and your positioning to apply the maximum dps. It's why so many bad ADc's fail and it can be frustrating for those who aren't used to being 0-3 and behind 70 farm. It's why perhaps ADc's have the most frustrated players.

Yup it's why I don't say anything negative to adc unless they are acting like a total jerk with 0 provacation. I also love when they ping me and complain about wards when they NEVER use their own yellow trinket for anything...ever. Not that it helps much when they are so tunnel visioned the only way to save them from the 3 man gank they literally walk into is to play Tahm and just nope them out. Worst part about bot lane is you can usually tell how the lane will go by how your partner acts in the first 2 minutes of game, and that goes for both roles.

support mains tend to be pretty insufferable too

I agree, but I would take a lux main over a vayne main any day of the week.

I'm a Vayne main and I never say anything negative to my supports. Mostly because I know that I'm not very good. If I feel that my support isn't that great then it becomes a game of learning how to position correctly and avoid being caught by the other team. However, I do get quite feisty with the other team in /all chat from time to time, but never my supports.

Bronze supports knowing what to build? Didnt know any of us bronzies knew what to build

iody1 votes

Bronze players point blank- stop raging, blame yourself and put the weight of the team on your back only, watch high elo players and not just their mechanics because mechanics will come in time, and dont play super highs skillcapped champs

zlumpy1 votes

Also please non stop AA ing minion waves and burning all your mana before you ever even get close to an enemy. Very frustrating to set up a kill only to watch adc not be able to actually do anything.

When we have no tank, and our blitz go full AP with ludens / rabba, and I'm like "I'm not sure that AP blitz is what we need" - That basically makes me Hitler to the support.

xxxToiletSeat1 votes

Lol. Supports shouldn't have that many deaths... Late game tanky supports maybe. But not usually...

Dont generalize yourself with everyone else out there "we start muting you" i find it hard to believe that every support mutes their adc. "Just stfu" you seem like youre the dickbag, not ur adc. "We know what we're doing" so you know every single thing about the game as a bronze level support and there is no way to improve your game play? I don't even need to comment on the assist thing because flawed logic is self evident. As far as the heal timing, your doing the same toxic raging toward your adc for missing a supportive opportunity and yet you think they should perfect in using spells and abilities when you clearly are not. "Let us play the way we want its bronze" so you don't care about playing the best way in a ranked game, then you should probably go play normal's and stay out of ranked where people actually try to better themselves.

Succubús GF1 votes

I'm pretty sure you are taking things out of context so let me address this as a whole. An adc should not tell us how to build, or who to play, but they do so anyways. "We know what we are doing" as in build path, If I am Lux support, I would never rush locket because that would be stupid. :Let us play how we want, <---- COMMA It is bronze, <---- COMMA- we don't need shit. Implying that we don't "need" tanks to win a game. Learn how to read? Just a thought. Don't take things out of context thanks

bleufromage1 votes

It's pretty obvious I can read just as it's obvious you're a toxic member of the community. The only context I have is the context you've given and everyone can read it and take it as they see fit so you don't need to try and insult me.

bleufromage1 votes

Additionally your still talking like you represent the community of supports. This is a team game and communicating about what is best for the team in a ranked environment is exactly what SHOULD BE HAPPENING. It shouldn't be toxic or aggressive but that's how it usually pans out. And why are you taking this mindset into the game in the first place as if every adc has it out for you. I'm not saying you should be forced into a tank if you aren't comfortable playing a tank. But if you can and your team needs it to be successful why not do it. If you just want to play whatever you want becuse you can and you're doing it out of spite play normal que. I would rather anyone play champs they are better at than making a pick to fulfill some comp or counter match. If you can't communicate this to your team because you would rather start arguing with them then you will have a miserable league experience.

Wait.... we can DO that? I never tell my support what champ to play and even say "play what you're best at" when asked, but I can get shitty supports to go top and stop feeding my lane or screwing my cs with comments? Why did I not know this? I would love to run off my Zilean support that takes half my cs and lets me die then ults himself to escape. At least then I KNOW I'm on my own and not worse off with the constant feeds with no actual "support". Thanks for sharing this information, now I know. I've just been trying to run away from these idiots, but they keep following me so they can attempt to ks and trick me into thinking they'll help.
