PD, Hurricane, Statik Shiv and Rapid Fire Cannon; which one should I choose?

I usually just buy them randomly..

Which of the 4 should I choose depending on team comps? And which works best with which ADC?

Take my opinion with a grain of salt since I'm not an ADC main, but runaan's is really good on adc's such as Ashe Caitlyn Jinx Kalista Kindred KogMaw Twitch who enjoy the triple application of their on-hit effects for huge benefits in teamfights, PD is something I usually take if I feel the damage reduction can save my life and don't need the extra burst damage from shiv or rapidfire (PD is viable on literally every adc too, so always have that one in your mind), Shiv gives strong burst waveclear and more AOE burst than rapidfire (also if you wanna have fun with Kalista she gets procs every third of fourth auto with it, although she normally needs the slots for another item), and rapidfire for when you need the range in order to stay out of the cc (also gives more single target burst than shiv, but that's not a good reason to take it most of the time). I feel like the AS+Crit item in ADC's builds are the most versatile since there is always a time to pick certain ones over the others, but there's almost never a time when one's unviable.

Do you want more dueling ability, survivability, and mobility? Choose Phantom Dancer (this is particularly good on Vayne, since she's the duelist ADC).

Do you want wave clear and burst? Choose shiv.

Do you want to be able to contribute damage from a safer distance away and have some burst? Choose RFC.

Runaan's is pretty much champion specific. It synergizes very well with on-hits and shit. It's built on Kog'maw, Jinx, Twitch, Ashe, Caitlyn, Varus (sometimes), Kalista, and Tristana for that reason. I wouldn't really buy it on any ADC but these.
