Let's not go on a crusade asking for Elise buffs shortly after he small rework

It's too soon to know anything and you guys tend to think because something gets a small rework and their winrate declines (which is natural), it needs to be megabuffed. Give it time, let people actually figure out how to play her now and build accordingly. It's like Ryze all over again, you people just don't learn. Actually, it's because you're begging for buffs here instead of trying to make her work in game and actually putting forth the effort.

was with you until you called everyone idiots. Considering every pro is still saying she is trash, i'll take that as a sign she is still trash. She didn't even get bugged. Just some things switched around. She still needs work

They played Ryze, whether or not they said that he sucked doesn't matter? Right after his rework Vizicsasci/Huni got him and completely destroyed. He was banned all 3 of the other EU games but some NA teams didn't believe or something. Until Hauntzer 1v2'ed in the late game against Vayne/Maokai when they all started full health. You can see whether pros think something is OP, and that's when it ends up going into multiple lanes as a first pick Blue side or a must ban Red side.

I've seen Challenger players trying to hold on to Elise, news flash they lose hard. That was last split though, as even the Elise mains in Challenger have given up. The fact that they buffed the wrong skills and transferred more of her active powers into passives she didn't need makes it even sadder for her.

After watching all these Elise players just roll people after the changes, I don't think she needs buffs.

Just like how Cass didn't need buffs and neither did Ryze.

you're comparing total kit reworks with putting an offensive buff on a character's escape mechanism. seems reasonable.

Elise's E isn't as much of an escape as an initiator or dodge, it can be used to dodge some skill shots but she can't go anywhere other than on enemies...

Except he's right

People overreact every single time someone is nerfed. I can guarantee you Elise is good right now. I guess you'll just have to wait and see when everyone learns how to play her correctly.

with rappel at 650 range due you think it's any faster to engage with than just walking up and Q'ing? I don't, not faster enough to waste using her only escape.

they didn't 'rework' elise. they straight up nerfed her and gave her a useless buff that will not ever be used in actual gameplay. calling it a rework makes you intrinsically wrong.

It's a small rework, any which way you slice it. It's a shift in power in a kit, which is a rework by definition.

no, a rework fundamentally changes the way a character operates. the way an ability functions, or the way their abilities inter-relate to each other. you wouldn't call lowering the damage on someone's Q a rework, and that's basically what Elise got. Her burst healing was lowered by moving it to a passive instead of the W active = nerf. Her escape/dodge mechanism was given a buff that will see use maybe 1/10th of the times it is used = useless buff. nothing about the way the character is played, viewed, built, nothing about the character of elise has changed one iota. that is not a rework.
