The problems we might see with the new Rengar changes
As you all should know, Rengar is getting his rework almost reverted to the point where it is the exact same thing as it was before, but not quite. I'm so happy that he is getting his old Q ability back, as the new one felt clunky and just made no sense for a champion like Rengar. However, there are a couple of problems that we might encounter once his changes reach the live servers.
First of all, AP Rengar. Since Rengar is getting AP scalings on a lot more of his abilities now, we could start to see AP Rengar more often. If this becomes meta, it will be a problem. How? Since his passive, W and ult will now scale with AP as well, this could make AP Rengar insanely overpowered. Before his rework, AP Rengar still did a ton of damage, and was really just used for fun, since AD Rengar was always the way to go. With AP Rengar though, he would be able to jump into a teamfight, use his W twice and delete almost the entire enemy team and still have tons of health thanks to his heals. There is a high chance that AP Rengar will become meta, and it will ruin us all, probably forcing Riot to just get rid of it entirely.
Secondly, his jungle clears. Everybody knows that with his old Q, Rengar never really had the best jungle clear in the game. And now that it will become even harder for him to clear, since there are more raptors and more krugs for him to kill, he could be lured into becoming a top lane champion instead, which would really suck. One way you can prevent this from happening is bringing blasting smite back, as since it's removal, Nidalee has become more and more useless in the jungle, and the same thing will probably happen to Rengar.
So those are the two problems that I think we might encounter once the Rengar changes come. I'm extremely excited to play the old Rengar once again, but let me know what else you think might change the game once his revert is live. I think that we will see him banned a lot more often :P.
