Urgot's ult feels extremely unsatisfying to use when damn near everything counters it.

What is Urgot's Niche? A inescapable execute. Yet here are a list of the champions / items that will negate it completely.

See what I mean? When his ult is supposed to spell guaranteed death for his enemies when they fall below 25% health, it shouldn't really be able to be just stopped because you're playing Olaf. When Urgot's ult has it's own special animation on a pulled target's screen, it should be DEATH no matter what. If you fell low enough to get pulled that's your problem.

25% is a fucking ton of life to have left. If it were absolutely uncounterable, it would have to be something like 10%.

Sometimes playing a champ imo really depends on if the enemy team has already picked its top lane champ and if you know that you can win lane against it with Urgot then pick Urgot and earn gold, but if they haven't picked it yet and your picking ahead of the lane you probably will be countered so plan to maybe pick something else to win the lane. If you can just ask one of your teams who is picking after you like the support if they have Urgot so you can switch after select and not get countered during select.

You either learn to outplay the enemy through the experience of playing against the champs that are challenging to lane against for you and even then sometimes learning to outplay them is all about learning to pick a different champ that cannot be countered as easily as your describing.

I find it funny that Tryndamere's ult stops Urgot's ult both from a design and lore standpoint. Design-wise, It's an execute, isn't it? Doesn't Tryndamere's ult say that his health can't drop below 1, not Tryndamere can't die? Also from the lore aspect, this motherfucking Viking just got ground up into burger meat by Urgot's crotch and you're telling me he's so angry he's totally okay and just limps away with no health? That was so funny to me last night it didn't even frustrate me that I wasted my ult

I think the key there is to force a Tryn ult by getting one of your teammates to come in for gank, if done right the Tryn will ult, and then you wait and keep track of his cd then when his ult is on CD you execute him.
