Why doesn't anybody ever complain about Gangplank?

He's not seen as much combined with a literally non existent earlygame.

In terms of power he is (imo) exactly how lategame carries should play. Super strong lategame, but extremely weak early on.

I think his cowardly barrel spam playstyle is super toxic

I despise GP, along with nearly every single cancer cell diver in the game. I just don't complain all the time since it does no good.

because the .5 seconds you have to disable his barrels as a melee champ past level 7 makes him a fun, interesting and interactive champions

Cause Gangplank was already "killed" by Riot twice, they can't keep the pirate down. 1st time in lore, 2nd time in the 10+ nerfs over the next 20 patches after his rework.

GP has one of the steepest learning curves in the game. Most people can't play him so they don't complain that he's dumb/counter-less.

cancer champion that takes a little bit of chromosomes to play and has a decent learning curve not too oppressive toxic early game karthus ult has actual counterplay with his barrels

Wow, I expected to be downvoted to hell, nice to know everybody hates GP as much as I do.

He's a good lad. It's hard to be in a situation where you feel you have no options against him unless he's really strong. Mainly, he is designed around a "bad early, great mid/late" which is something Riot have completely trashed over time in favor of reworked "strong early, amazing late" champions.

His early game is terrible which any one else other than will be a hard time for him. His barrel placement takes a lot of practice to get used to and he has a pretty big skill ceiling and a high skill floor imo.
