He is either just missing things or being mediocre in many categories so no one really bother to play him thesedays.

His only redeeming value is his ulti, which took a hit last time and his early was gutted if I remember correctly.

They gave Ahri a 200 ms buff on her Q. 200 ms. Morde got a middle finger. That's what happened.

He doesn't need work. Mordekaiser is amazing. Give him a try. 5.4 was amazing for him.
