Idea: Health costs now go thru Morde's passive shield before his Base Health

Whats the point of the shield if it only stops you from taking Health damage from enemies when you can't even stop Health damage from yourself?

Give the masochistic and suicidal master of aluminum some help rito

To clarify this change removes his reliance on spellvamp completely.

It would work in the following way:

Morde E costs 72 Health per cast at Rank 5 Morde E deals 250 Magic Damage without AP per cast at Rank 5 Morde converts 35% of the Damage Dealt from his Abilities into his Shield

I propose he generates 50% of damage dealt and it decays after 10 seconds of being out of combat with no reduced generation against monsters

He casts E on a Champion and he would generate 87.5 Shield on Live and lose 72 Health He casts E on a Champion and he would generate 52 Shield on Here and lose NO Health

I've wanted it to work like this since I first tried morde. It would open his build path up a lot too instead of forcing him into a revolver/will.

Yeah... let's make it downright impossible for you to push Morde out of lane right from the get go. The health costs are because he: Doesn't use mana. Has a shield. Deals a LOT of damage with relatively short CDs. The point of the shield is to spend some health to prevent damage and do damage. For the measly cost of 72 life, you deal a big chunk of damage in an AoE and prevent a potential large amount of damage in the trade back. Thus, you heavily win trade.

This change heavily weakens his early game trading
