Does anyone actually like playing Ryze since his rework?

I know he's considered a really strong pick right now, but do people actually like how his kit feels? Ever since his rework I can't get past the long cast animation on Q, the fact that most of your damage is tied to repeated skill shots that can be blocked by minions, the tiny window within which you can actually perform your combo, and how totally devastating to your rhythm in that window even a 0.5 second stun can be. It seemed like his spells had a decent flow to them before and the consistency of his cooldown reduction made playing him a little more adaptable.

Do other players feel differently than me? Do they like Ryze's style even when he didn't feel so strong?
