Riven and Taric had a baby.
And his name is Aatrox, the World Ender.
He has the abilities and build path of Riven, but with the very different casting style of Taric.
Despite the extreme similarity between Aatrox and Riven's abilities, Aatrox does not cast them in the same way. Rather than the quick-as-you-can style Riven has, he casts a lot more like Taric. Allow me to explain:
The interaction between Aatrox's Q and E is cast in much the same way as Taric's E+Flash combo and, like Taric, is to be followed up with an AA for the passive's damage. Though of course it's much more frequent on Aatrox, it's also nowhere near as quick as Riven.
His ultimate, on the other hand, is like a selfish amalgamation of Riven's and Taric's. He transforms for extra damage, like Riven, but like Taric it keeps the enemies from being able to burst him down.
It's a neat way of taking the very basic ideas behind Riven's kit and making them have a completely different feel.
