why is lethality worse?

before with armor pene: -jhin (though he was strong and was nerfed) and mf didn't dominate, we had other adcs on their lvl like twitch and jinx and so many other -assassins weren't obnoxious, but that is because the assassin rework was the biggest failure ever making rengar the most broken champ in the game, making kha'zix who didn't need changes the 2nd most broken champ in the game. honestly Zed was fine i admit talon was weak -fighters like riven or wukong weren't stupid, armor pene users all weren't stupid...

how did riot manage to make the situation worse?

They gave lethality some great actives and also increased the overall amount of lethality (something like from 40-90) you could get when switching from flat armor pen to lethality. Before the recent buff from 40% to 60% starting lethality, it matched armor pen at something like level 12 (don't quote me on this), now it does it at level 9 I think (again I am too lazy to do the math).

Honeslty when they buffed lethality from 40% to 60% I knew it was going to be op and I said right then "its probably going to be nerfed to 50%". I still don't know why such a drastic change was required, increasing to 50% would have been fine and then if they still found it weak they could increase again.
