I believe it's about time to remove smurfs & trolls from Aram.

Title. This thread is long. If you are no ARAM fan, or you don't mind smurfs/trolls in game then you won't find this thread as useful or entertaining.

Aram is supposed to be fun mode, where players can experience playing unusual champions and team combinations. Also as a bonus we are set into neverending Team vs Team fights.

All of above are totally crushed by smurfs & trolls. You have no fun facing yet again highest poke champions Not to say when you wait 5th champion selection cause someone had to run like a coward. You see exactly the same few champions every game Soraka, Nami, Nidalee, Caitlyn, Jinx, Varus, Sona... And lastly you cannot have relaxing TvT because most of ARAMs end with 1 smurf team facerolling other.

I know devs aren't really into touching ARAM, but something has to be done. This change might also influence "normal", SR map.

Here are some of my ideas considering smurfs, trolls etc. Hate one? Check another. 1.) Add 3 new report options for ARAM only:

• AFK
• bad (as in negative) player
• troll If player rcieves "x" sum of those reports he is banned for 1 day from ARAM. If he doesn't care and keeps on breaking basic rules of playing, then 3 days. Ofc this could end in someone abusing/trolling system. Maybe each player can vote only once per game? And honour is equal of 1 report? That way ppl will try to be nicer.

2.) If player dodged x times he is banned from aram for 3 days. No less, could be even longer. Inb4 bad connection players will flame me. If you have bad connection, then sorry, you'd DC in game anyways. Also i don't believe you just so happen to DC in champion select 10th time in a row. We have XXI age. Good/decent/not-bad internet is accessible everywhere. And LoL is online game. I myself had to upgrade my internet just to play online games. Maybe it's time for you.

2.1) Also increase penalty for dodging to 1 hour. I'd love if it was restriction on IP (so no relogging to your real account after smurfing attempt failed), but if we remove smurfs, then 1hr will feel like warning & punishment in 1.

3.) Smurfs.. Smurfs.. Solution would be easy.. Make all champions accesible.. But that won't happen... How about each player shares 5-10 champions he owns and adds to pool of random champions? Ofc it wouldn't work with 5man smurf team.. Or how about 30 random champions are added to each player. Yeah that would work much better. So.. Add 20 random champions to every player. Doesn't matter if he owns them or not. He might get them and that should fix smurfs

4.) Some of us, legit players, have 100+ champions. I don't really mind that. I enjoy most of them. But i'd damn love to have option to ban/disable few of them. How about 1 disable option per 30 champions. That's reasonable

5.) Remember when notification showed dodgers name? Riot loves to protect shameless beings. I have no idea why. They don't care about their pride. We, other 9 legit players should know the name of a dodger. We won't remember it soon, Please, Riot. You cannot protect everyone. 1 player that clearly shows no respect cannot outweight 9 others. Think of this as: after x'th dodge those 9 players are finally fed up, they won't buy next skin. They'll have enough of unfairnes. Bringing that back could add few pennies into your bottomless pockets. Isn't that what you are trying to do all the time? Earn money?

6.) Last idea. Increase punishments on all game modes. Right now LoL playerbase is nowhere near what it used to be 4 years ago. "we" (majority) don't respect anyone nor anything. We often accuse, flame, harras, annoy the living soul of a poor teammates. So make reports something to be afraid of recieving. Make it into a huge steel bat. Whereas honors as sweet & juicy carrot. Did you recieved few reports? It's time to be nice and gain few honours that will remove your sins.

TL;DR Better nerf Irelia.

EDIT: Just fyi I have about 3k games played in ARAM. My MMR is close 2,1-2,3k which is somewhere Gold. Atm i'm hitting glass ceiling. Anything above me are pretty much just smurfs.. I've started playing ARAM about 1 week after some wise player created it in custom. I'm proud to say that i even participated in creating ARAM rules. So yeah.. I know some ARAM related stuff.

Also smurfs be hating & downvotin'. This thread threatens their rotflstomping freedom.
