Excuse me, but Jax isnt broken. Last change Jax had was several months ago they increased his mana growth per level and reduced his base mana. Thing that made Jax viable again was Guinsoo Rageblade. But Jax is same as always, has same weaknesses and same strengths. However u stopped Jax in past year, u stop him now.

Depends.

Teamfight or 1v1 ?

In 1v1 almost nobody can stop a full stuff Jax except other hyper-carries with a dreadful amount of damages.

In teamfights, peel and CC as always. Not easy, but definitely something you can achieve.

If you have a good amount of cc, & can avoid his stun before figthing, you may stand a better chance. cc annoys the heck out of me when I am Jax. Jax main for 4 yrs :)

If it's a teamfight, you kite him and focus him down (as necessary). Basically, just don't let him stay on your carry and kill him.

If it's a 1v1, you take a duelist and disengage whenever necessary before re-engaging. Jax relies heavily on his ramp-up time so many champions will want to separate from him long enough for his passive and Rageblade stacks to fall off before starting the fight again. Champions like Trundle and Udyr are exceptionally good at this.

Kiting champions are another good option in both scenarios since he only has a single dash. Champions such as Vayne, Kalista, Ahri, Vel'koz, Lulu and Gnar can handle him quite well in both duels and fights since Jax will have trouble sticking to them for any length of time.
