eh, no.
whether you disagree or not doesnt change the fact that its right.
Your mana costs become none existant, you get half the cdr cap on one item and a massive amount of ap. All these things shouldnt be core. They nerfed morellos for being the exact same thing this is
so you're just buttmad that mages have a 20% cdr item with AP on it...
hint: they need it
and yes, it's the point of the item to make spamming spells more sustainable. since when is that an issue? mana hasn't been a real resource for 4 seasons now and is barely relevant outside of early laning, that's the point.

Not if you're an anivia main :(

As a plat support main that bought the item both before and after the update, I'll explain some things.
1.) Its very possible to go OoM even with tear - depends on the champion. It greatly extends your mana pool, for sure. That's the entire point of the item. Your claim that mana costs don't matter is straight up bullshit. Sorry. You are wrong.
2.) Every SINGLE major mage item now gives 20% CDR upon completion. I personally feel this is a good change.
3.) The item has a 'smoother' build path now, and gives a bigger shield than before, those are the generally the only changes. It technically gives LESS AP than before.
4.) There is a buildup period before you see benefits. It requires your first item to be tear, which provides NOTHING to you during the critical laning phase. This is a massive weakness. You don't see any benefits until mid game, even if you rush the item, as tear has a significant startup. **This is the primary reason tear is seen as 'inferior' to the other mage items. **
5.) The item was considered pretty meh by almost every professional league player, and still generally is. You simply don't know what your talking about.
why is there an issue with that? it's a 3.2k gold item you might argue that its op because it is two items in one now, but keep in mind that nobody ever finished the item before because you had to get 1250 and 1100g per back to even buy it.
so your point is literally
people who bought tear and then finished their morello now have a few AP more for 400g less
and that doesnt sound op at all
Also Seraph's require you to sacrifice lots of early stats. Sure it might be strong once completed and fully stacked, but the build path is very bad and the stats don't kick in before a while. So you basically sacrifice early stats for lategame power.
Obviously this is mostly irrelevent depending on the champ and matchups, but it is still a weakness that can be abused.
very true. you only get 40 AP until you finish it and that means you have already invested over 2k gold into the full item.
40 AP mana and 10% CDR for 2k gold is like 80% efficient, pretty bad as a first item technically
