If old poppy ult was unhealthy, and if fiora couldn't have got a 1v1 ult then why is it fine for morde?
Fiora is significantly more mobile than Mordekaiser, and has burstier damage. Mordekaiser is much easier to kite and avoid, and thus it's probably far safer.
I'm fine with it.
It's broken by design so his R will be nerfed quickly.
wowzers I dont usually complain about new champs but this ult might be the most broken thing ever. Ult adc in hypercarry comp, kill him. Or ult support Lulu and make her useless.
also he almost killed talon with 1 combo at level 4 so ye thats kinda weird
One can dash infinite times & has a fuckton of healing, True Damage & %HP damage, the other is still as slow as a slug.
And what about sylas stealing his ult that will be so op.
Because Fiora can dash every 2 secs, block your dmg and slow you/stun you/reduce your atk speed (BECAUSE REASONS) if she hits you with that parry of hers. As far as I can see, new Morde has to hit Swain's E to get closer. And he still looks slow AF.
not for nothing but revisiting this a few months down the road, 7 seconds probably is a bit too long for a cam ult on crack. right now u cant get any easier of a game than picking morde. but with respect to op's thoughts i sort of agree in that fiora is obviously a duelist so it would've been kinda neat having the dueling part of her kit shine in some way and even if just locking another champ in a box with her for however long without stealing stats or the rest of the perks it'd be neat. btw old poppy was bae <3.

You are 100% correct my friend. This is an abysmal design. Literally catch their fed midlaner out three vs one, he just ults the ADC, easily kills them and comes out ready to 2v1 with a huge stat buff.
What an awful, awful design.
I mean, it’s been five years since that statement was made. Things change. (That being said, given my recent experience with the new Morde ult, the original statement was prescient)

Mordekaiser is neither a tank or a bruiser with mobility. It's okay for him to have it because every meta solo laner (
) has like 10 ways to dash in/out and he really can't do anything about it. His new e doesn't seem like it'd be hard to dodge seeing as it's very short in range.
