If old poppy ult was unhealthy, and if fiora couldn't have got a 1v1 ult then why is it fine for morde?

Morde now has an AOE hard CC, and i wouldnt be surprised if he has a slow or a speed up somewhere else too.

His AoE Cc is on a delay, and fairly low range. He also does have a speed boost, but it requires hitting three abilities/attacks, so it's only good for keeping him in the fight.
He's also 100% not a diver. He has very poor mobility and unreliable target access. He's a Juggernaut through and through.

Given that in the video they specifically show people kiting him successfully and talk about that as a counterplay to his ultimate, I'm going to assume that yes, he is. Not, obviously, if you let him E you and get his passive cooking, but at that point you've messed up and entered into a Juggernaut's ideal combat range, so yeah -- bad things will happen to you.

Yeah, irelia can kite him in middle of a minion wave, that means everyone else can lmao.
If he ults an immobile adc theres probably nothing it can do.

Thats better than Fiora who's like "Fuck your stun, ima stun you instead" and immediately burst you for 30% of your health in true damage, then could use this ult and practically make you pray to the lord you manage to survive.

Neeko N Dime1 votesthe irony of this comment xd. if its not commonly known now then it is what it is but morde is probably too strong right now. can outscale most traditional toplaners and if morde gets somebody in the box for 7 seconds there's a good chance he can win it even if he's 0/10. ive seen mordes win in ult 2 lvls below enemy toplaner. ridiculous design of an ult. and i gotta think most of the preworked morde mains arent happy with this new rendition and either gave him up and found a different champ or a different game

HommeGoujon1 votesBecause Fiora can dash every 2 secs, block your dmg and slow you/stun you/reduce your atk speed (BECAUSE REASONS) if she hits you with that parry of hers. As far as I can see, new Morde has to hit Swain's E to get closer. And he still looks slow AF.

You are 100% correct my friend. This is an abysmal design. Literally catch their fed midlaner out three vs one, he just ults the ADC, easily kills them and comes out ready to 2v1 with a huge stat buff.

Neeko N Dime1 votesnot for nothing but revisiting this a few months down the road, 7 seconds probably is a bit too long for a cam ult on crack. right now u cant get any easier of a game than picking morde. but with respect to op's thoughts i sort of agree in that fiora is obviously a duelist so it would've been kinda neat having the dueling part of her kit shine in some way and even if just locking another champ in a box with her for however long without stealing stats or the rest of the perks it'd be neat. btw old poppy was bae <3.
