Dear Riot, Stop reworking champions to the point of broken and then gutting them

We have seen this time, and time again. Swain got reworked slightly, nerf hammer. Poppy got reworked completely, nerf hammer (yes I set that up no downvotes c;) it drives me insane when they do this. Swain and poppy were REALLY strong, so it makes sense to nerf them but honestly riot needs to get it together and stop reworking champions so hard it makes them OP, and I'm sure we all know where this is going. I have seen ww in every single game he wasn't banned in, why? because he is absolutely too strong right now. and I don't know if this is some sort of tactic to gain more money on riots part but ffs, this isn't okay

450 ip champion that got reworked and everybody wants to try out is too strong?

Lol no. People don't play ww cause he's strong people play ww cause he's new and new things are fun.

Also its hard to really see something as "broken" or "overtuned" since riot can't really get a ranked winrate or community banrate while developing the champion. This is why they release these overtuned champions, cause if it's in the right spot, then its good.. but if its too strong, they can nerf it slightly, but if its too weak then the statisic is harder to see as nobody knows if there is a hidden skillcap for the champ or if its just that bad.

So far ww isn't too overwhelming, he feels either undertuned or balanced IMO but that's with me only ever using flash over ghost and going the full tank build with titanic hydra, and I bully the shit out of other warwicks. He's annoying but so is yi and he had like what... 30% winrate in challenger last I checked?

WW is trash right now. You're only seeing him because he's new and people don't realize that he is trash.

The end.

Riot reworks champions who underperform (like Poppy and Warwick). Since the goal is to make these champions viable, Riot decides to err on the side of making them too powerful rather than too weak, because when creating new abilities it's easier to see what component is too strong and trim it rather than see which component is too weak and buff it.

Furthermore, since the champion is both recently reworked and released, more people will play them. This amount increases if reworked champions have a history of being OP. Riot shoots for a bit above average so that once the dust settles, the champion will have found a greater number of new fans who will play them.

They apply this logic to new champions as well, but since underperforming champions who get a rework and remain lackluster are hurt even more than a new champion who fails, they don't want to risk somebody like Warwick becoming even more of an afterthought. Seriously, when I started learning jungle everybody told me to try Warwick but I preferred Master Yi, despite Warwick being the go-to champ for learning how to jungle. By ridiculously buffing him and then subsequently nerfing him they highlight his worthwhile attributes and give him time in the sun. If the Warwick rework hadn't been overpowered, I guarantee you that I would not be considering trying him out once he gets nerfed, but now I am. And that is precisely why Warwick was built to fall.

I am 100% with you friend he is overtuned just wait for riot to nerf him after all the high elo players really figure him out then everyone will be gasping at the nerfs. I called out cammille too before she even came out and look where we are lol ??? "Fun" in this game basically means fun for yourself as in its quite fun to kill everyone and excel using your "fun" champion to always have the odds set against your opponent sadly this is leagues definition of fun and we start to see patterns of whats "fun" begin to overlap into oppressive and un fun to VS.

How is Swain a 'cash cow' for Riot?
