Reduce machete price so you can buy more pots

Back in season 4, you could buy 5 pots. That was plenty back then. Then machete got some changes and along with that a price upgrade so you could only get 4. Still fine, that's just one pot. Then season 5 comes in and boom, 2pots Shakur (Yes I know that pun is awful and not jungle relevant). Of course, machete also slightly heals you now. But spirit stone used to do that for damaging, and gave decent mana so some champions Udyr Hecarim didn't worry about running out of mana after two camps.

But the biggest hit of all to sustain was of course the camps getting beefy. Those guys hit the gym between seasons, and now came back to kill you in the jungle. And of course, not only are camps harder than in season 4 (despite some small nerfs), you also only get 2 health pots. Have fun Evelynn. Even with smite buffs from red/gromp/krugs you still can't make it past 2 camps. Half the time I got execute mid second camp. The other times I lived with 10 hp. Now imagine if I was going against a Shaco? I'd be absolutely screwed. I sure hope you brought some ham and bread because you're about to get the cheese.

Of course Evelynn is the most extreme case. But there are many others who have struggles with early clears. Some that come to mind are Khazix Hecarim JarvanIV MonkeyKing, some having better sustain than others. But still, I don't care what champ it is, if they were specifically designed to jungle they should be able to make it through a full clear, or at least 3 damn camps without dropping to 20 hp.

Additionally other improvements from machete cost reduction would be the availability to buy wards level one as jungle again. Season 4, you're going against a Shaco as Amumu, don't want to get cheesed or just plain want early vision, you can leave off some pots and take a pink ward. A notable case was Nunu being able to start machete and just wards because of his sustain from Q and mana from passive.

Season 5 jungle diversity could benefit so much if machete was just a bit cheaper so we could at least buy 3 pots. Although personally I feel 4 is a good medium. And it's not like it's going to empower the champs who don't need the pots. Warwick isn't going to be god tier because he now has 4 pots he doesn't need to use. Worst case scenario he can solo dragon easier (which he can already do at 3), but regardless if I'm fighting someone like Fiddlesticks or Warwick who can solo dragon early, I'm probably going to try to focus on keeping vision down there with scuttle and stealth wards, even a pink nearby to see them going to the drake. And I don't see the problem with Nunu getting to start with some wards. He's generally supposed to be a support-ish jungle who generally would keep vision in check.

TL;DR: Machete costs less = more pots for weaker junglers.

twitch is also ranged and can kite creeps a bit. it's pretty hard to consistently kite creeps as Evelynn without taking much damage.

Well yes that's what your supposed to do. One start either golems or toad . then skip your buff then get wolves or wraiths . then go to river and get river monster. Then follow up on the opposite ie wolves wreaths golem or toad . back upgrade machete . what you don't understand is your losing way way to much money because you would rather have more pots ...

I don't want to be a party pooper, but with the correct runes and masteries Evelynn can first clear the entire jungle in one shot and still have 25% health. I know it sounds crazy, I mean I've tried full AP after rework, AD my way and all of these builds never worked out. Ever since I tried Nexevis' Evelynn build, I can easily clear without my HP getting too low.

Well since you don't understand the jungle buying process I'll make it simple. Your only supposed to jungle so you have the min amount to buy the machete upgrade like rufffely 500 gold. Cause the extra 30 gold you get per camp is what u need. Sure I could stay with machete the whole time as aatrox but why when I'm losing money......

its not about clearing everything necessarily. its about some champions that cant even get enough for that first upgrade ever since the bumped up the price. 3 camps and scuttle crab is barely enough to get the smite. in season 4 after backing you could get spirit stone, boots/long sword/amp tome/ruby crystal, a couple wards, and a pot. Not champions like Shaco can cheese super easily because other junglers suffer from the damage on camps and lack of significant sustain other than their kit provides.

I've had no problems. One smite your first camp asap don't sit there taking unessacry damage . cause you need the buff off the camp it comes. When you smite it not having to kill it with smite
