Vlad and Swain were trash after their reworks until Riot buffed the hell out of them. That being said, the same can be said of the assassins. They might be garbage on the first patch but then Riot will buff them in the upcoming patches after the dust settles.

The same exact shit happens every single year, I don't know why people get so upset about it.

Preason LoL:

massive over nerfs followed by massive overbuffs or vice versa
new items and mechanics either worthless or broken OP
Riot desperately trying to get all the new stuff into a state of viability and/or toned down before the new season starts

Remember when Cass literally (!) had a 29% winrate until she finally saw some changes? And remember how it took them at least one month to hotfix this complete and utter garbage which they called a champion? Please think again, captain hindsight.
