This burst meta is exhausting

Lucian one shotting me with pta is boring. Khazix killing me in .94 seconds with warrior and two long sords only, is boring. Fizz diving me repeatedly for funsies, is boring.

Like my top two are leblanc and kat and honestly its fucking lame that everything just blows everything up. Like i really would love to see this game tone down damage. Even as someone who mains assassins. Like its not even fun anymore its just. Oh i killed them in less than 1 second. hurray /s And quite frankly. The whole "im diving you now and theres nothing you can do about it" is stupid and poorly designed.

Just wait for sylas. Hes gonna burst so hard. He has riven sheild with his E ability along with the thresh q. He scales with ap and has burst ap abilitys. He uses your ult, so your screwed. Have fun playing this now garbage game for the next 5 years its alive.

Riots gonna act like everything is fine until they then go bankrupt or loose almost all of the playerbase.

Oh no you picked a champion with an overpowered ultimate and now have to deal with just the ultimate instead of the whole broken kit. It sure is good you don't have to deal with a mirror match to get beat by someone who's simply better at the champion but didn't get to pick first.

Honestly, I'm not sure where Sylas is supposed to go but Zoe would go well into him. Bubble for when he engages on you, and your ulti is pretty bad for him to use.

All that Rito needs to seriously piss off the fanbase is announce a new game. get everyone hyped then at a big conference reveal it's League Mobile Heroes and pull a Diablo 4.

I main Katarina too, and honestly EVERYONE can one shot her, so what's the point of playing her if everyone else does it better?

Not to mention that she's also one dimensional atm since she NEEDS to oneshot with one dagger when ahead or she's garbage, thus promoting an extremely unhealthy take on her kit which is designed to be for AOE teamfighting, which ends up being better at solo killing.

Exactly, what happened to being able to kill multiple people with a well-timed combo? That went to shit when they gave every champion CC or the ability to one shot a whole team with their Q.

Im saying from the bottom of my heart the less ic are about winning my raanked games the more i enjoy them i just did a ww jungle shet in the enemy jungler and top ended 18 4 2 or something still lost(my team fed back the enemy jungler and top pretty bad no matter tho) still had a blast whit full movementspeed ww jungle.

Im sry to say but if hes not lcs as level of competitive than there is no point stressing about it, it has no other effect than burning out. Im sry if this triggers/offends/hurts you in any way but he said it too its not fun and when its not fun there is no point playing it.

I cant tell him it will get better cuz it will not, cant tell him he will find comfort playing whit strangers. All i can say is what i think honestly, if its not fun dont force it.

Giving up? No ofc not! But the way the game rewards even the most "daft" players and doesnt punish dying 16 times ina 20 min game enough some of the players willl get emotinal brakedown before they could say daft.

And yes i am arrogant cuz i think the game caters too much towards trash players who never did or going to care as much as i ever did in ladder and that Infuriates me and this makes me say that as a long time player if the game is about who has the dumest player in their team, than its no longer worth taking seriously(ye could just say seriusly idc rly).

And if that angers you thats alright if anything atleast this.

IMO the biggest problem in the game right now is Poppy. She can build one damage item and 100-0 people with her %hp damage, all while being tankier than most other tanks in the top lane.

I played not too serious in Season 3-5, but that meta was very fun. Granted games could take awhile, but the build paths all felt viable, each build had a counter, kinda like pokemon which I also love hahaha (:.

I seem to recall items like Blade of the Ruined King and reworked Wriggle's Lantern/Feral Flare being the start of that damage creep, cause they were good on SO many champions. I played Shyvana almost exclusively during that time. Dragon girl power! <3

Edit: I also kinda like the burst meta honestly... I feel like I can carry with any role if I just try hard enough, and the in game toxicity has gone down dramatically for me with games being faster and Riot actually taking chat offenses and hate speech seriously.

I think that buffing defensive items slightly and providing more counter build options to the burst meta is more than fair. Keep the meta intact sort of, but expand it's counter play into other roles so it's not a total steam roll.

that is needed but sadly buffing defensive items will never do as much as nerfing damage. due to that defenses are less effective when stacked while damage always does the same amount more damage.

If you like burst meta you are agreeing with a laughable 20% to 30% of the community and you should go to a new game because your input here is invalid right when you said "I also kinda like burst meta" which a majority hate.

Katarina : I love being one shot before my dagger lands, or needing to oneshot people with one dagger when I want to show my skill expression with a full combo. Damage meta. Fun.

The only champ I play who I can really say counters my view of the burst meta would be Rengar, but then again Rengar has always been this go hard "ONESHOT OP BROKEN MY PARENTS LEFT ME" champion since his release. Now everyone one shots, including numerous "supports". But I will agree, Rengar is definitely uhhhh....a special one in terms of burst damage.

Tell me again, why did Riot go through with the assassin update if this was their plan all along? They stated that they didn't want 0 counterplay burst damage in their game....and now pretty much everyone has been turned into touch-of-death champions. I'm reaaaally starting to want them to just revert their assassin reworks and Runes Reforged.....

My favorite part of this year is ARAM. You run out of base, dodge all enemy skill shots, and within 10 seconds you're at 50% hp from nothing but fucking comets and Luden's procs.
