Just looking for context, not sure why the first knee jerk reaction of the balance team is to nerf the champion, when in reality the item that is being abused 
is the real issue. Why can't we nerf or rework the item instead of knee capping a champion, who after the nerfs, will not be able to do the only thing she is strong at (power farm jungle)
Win1Ocent1 votesNothing's set in stone, it's PBE and might get reverted, but having played a fair bit of Shyvana myself, she is too good at clearing camps. She could still power farm the jungle even with those changes, still better than most junglers just worse than she could before. It's not too hard to become level 18 while the rest of the players are level 12-15, nor is it hard to hit 6 before solo laners do. Levels are super important, having 3-4 levels on someone is like having an extra giants belt, long sword, half a zeal worth of attackspeed, a cloth armor and more magic resistance. Not to mention your smite gets better so easier to secure/steal baron/dragon. With those benefits in mind, reducing her early clear speed a bit seems fine to me.
