What will happen if heal/poke supports like sona are nerfed

And then you're going to come to the boards and complain that midlaners are invading the support role botlane more than they have been.

No, since they didnt nerf leona thresh alistar, it will still be leona thresh alistar and whatever other engage supports there are. 53-54% winrate leona on the 2nd highest pickrate is what it is.

but hey, if that ever did happen being autofilled to supp would be more fun!

Except some people specialize in certain things. I specialize in heal/poke supports. I don't play tank supports. I'm not going to play champions I don't enjoy playing and stray from how I'm used to playing.

Same goes for other people.

So instead of seeing Nami or Sona or Soraka, you'll see more midlaners in their places.

The tanks will be there, but then mage supports will show up where the enchanters were.

That's apparently exactly where we're headed. If mage supports start flying in and one-shotting carries, I don't want to see a lick of complaining. Same for any ridiculous Alistar turret dives.

That's what I'm saying. Mage supports will take the place of healing supports if the healing is trash anyways. They'll do the poke part of the job better.

But then you're gonna have people running to the boards complaining about it.
