s6 - gold3 played 10 placement matches solo got silver1. However since game 8, all my random teammates are dia4-plat2 in last season. So its very fun to say every game: "wtf im doing here?" and all enemy players try to focus my lane, yet im lucky to win over and over again. Last time checked with some random mmr scaners - my approx mmr is around 2.2k lol... probably highest since s4 for me :D So after all i like this new queue. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

The Ranked Season is over however the Pre-season has begun till patch 6.24, in which our ranks will be reset. You can still rank until then but it doesn't give you any rewards as the season came to an end and those are locked in now.

Ranked Flex itself is just the renamed version of Dynamic Queue. It's the same as it was but you can now only rank with 1,2,3 or 5 people as 4s has been disabled. Solo/Duo queue will be released within the week and then that will be available for ranking as well.

They turned it off cause they didn't think enough people would be playing Solo for the 4 man groups to have enough chance in finding anyone.

Because being on a 4 man means you have a solo-er. Most people don't include that person in communication and since you are likely paired against another team that has a 4 man then it is easy to get stomped on as the solo-er. They are also going to bring back solo/duo to more directly address this soon :)

The other reading of 4 in japan is Shi which is the same as death. On yomi and kun yomi :)

I was thinking about something. If i do 10 games on "Ranked Flex" i will get my rank lower right? Like if i am gold 2 i will be Gold 5. Then season7 starts and again have to do 10 games and from Gold 5 i will get something like silver 4-5. Can you tell me is that true and if its not what is going on when i make 10 games on "Ranked Flex" Thank you!

Any ranked you do right now helps MMR for S7, unless you lose a ton, but yeah.

The ranked season is over, rewards are locked in. Any ranked you do now goes towards MMR placements in S7

wtf? Ended this Season as Gold 3. Somehow my MMR is Gold 5 which makes no sense because it was Gold 2 a day before season ended. What gives? Did the placements for ranked flex. Got randomly matched with Plats Golds, Silvers and Bronze. All the plat players are boosted AF. Cause me to lose some of my games. We had higher MMR and my team fed hard AF. Was legit carrying that game even when we had an AFK. After 10 games I get Silver 4?! Wtf? I should have gotten at least Plat since they all suck.

I mean. I was gold 5 on this acc and just got placed plat 4 on ranked flex. Won 9 games out of 10 and the least amount of kills I had was on my last game, secondary role with 4 kills. Before that, the least I got was 10 kills. So its not true that you cant go above your rank. This is my smurf but still.

A way to boost your friends or be boosted that is 100% legal and Riot encouraged.
A bad idea that Riot tried to cram down our throats despite MASSIVE backlash against it for over a year before they finally gave up and made it optional.
