Add separate SOLO Q ranked ladder

Since RIOT has told us repeatedly they will NEVER bring back solo q, or split the queues I can just ask for the next best thing.

If you queue up solo, you should have a different rank than 'dynamic' . Since Riot refuses to segregate solo players, I guess we have to continue playing vs premades. But at least we'll have our own, non-boosted solo rank.

Very dissapointed in how adamant they are that solo players MUST play with and vs premades...... but if that will NEVER change, then solo ranks would be the next best compromise.

Just do it while you guys spend another 6 months telling yourselves DQ was a huge success.

On another note, no RIOT comments regarding SOLO Q in months eh? Guess they've gone dark again. Can we expect a RIOT SOLO Q statement/response in another 6 months, or they just gonna brush this under the rug and never bring it up again and hope we stop complaining.

A separate Solo Queue ladder won't solve the matchmaking problems that are in Dynamic Queue. Separate ladders alone will not fix anything if matchmaking remains the same and games can be anywhere from 1+1+1+1+1 vs 1+1+1+1+1 (a true solo queue) to 4+1 (4 man premade) vs 1+1+1+1+1 (5 man solo). Their solution of stick a higher elo/mmr player into the game in an attempt to balance the premade does nothing but make games even more imbalanced and does nothing to address the often improved communication that goes with a premade.

The absolutely only way to avoid this would be a true separate queue since Dynamic Queue ignores the premade rules anyways. The second solution is to evaluate each player individually based on their performance on that champion to other players who play that champion in their rank, like champion mastery. The only problem is that this would increase toxicity by a much greater margin as players attempt to improve their KDA in order to keep their elo/mmr high in a losing game.

Oh HELL NO EVERYONE would prefer a solo q.

But since riot has repeatedly told us solo players to fuck off, this is the only compromise i can think of that might actually find its way into this game.

I agree with you , but i'm trying to think of a compromise, ya know. SOMETHING, ANYTHING for solo players.

It might not help in all Matches but it can help so that the boosted guy, when he plays solo, doesnt play at the "boosted elo" and dont destroy games there. It would not solve everything but is a beginning!

Theoreticly i would go as far and say: 2 man team same ranks as solo. at 3-4 you get only 50%-25% to solo MMR but full to a new TeamMMR, at 5 max. 25%-10% SoloMMR. We basicly split MMR in Solo- and TeamMMR. All values are obviously tweakable :D

in order for riot employees to maintain their sanity, they have to believe they are above dota. dota already does this succesfully so it won't be copied. The wheel has to be reinvented, it would be foolish to think otherwise. /s

I'd rather just not play than play anything to do with Dynamic Queue. Notice my match history goes back to February.

Tried OverWatch but it's not very good imo; just super hyped. Hit boxes are waaaaaaaay to big and the game over all is too easy. Their ranked system is just as bad if not worse. Haven't been gaming at all...everything is bleh haha.

Yeah overwatch was good for the first 50 matches but got repetitive. Maybe it will be better with more expansions. Well I'm not sure what sort of gamer you are but you could try Witcher 3 , osrs or 'principle of talos'

Burnt out. Everything is bad these days. All too noob friendly and pay to win. Last best game to be released was Rust...they ruined that game too though and buried Rust Legacy into the ground haha.

Like what why does it take 6months to do this? Just do it then argue about solo w but in the meantime at least have the solo ratings. Is there any downside to this? Solo players can see their accurate rank and riot keeps their precious queue
