Fill shouldnt exist as an option

This has been discussed over and over again... with all the posts, this is how the conversation goes...

Community who doesn't like autofill: Remove this option its garbage and makes the gaming experience terrible! Why cant we play the lanes we want?
Community who likes or could care less if there is autofill: Learn to play the Support role and you will be fine. You will then be autofill protected after you do finish the match.
League Devs: To help reduce wait times we feel that autofill will make a better gaming experience.

My personal opinion is #1. I and everyone was ok with wait times and I don't want to autofill a role I don't want to play.

im #1 and #2. i dont care if I'M autofilled. but i care if my random teammates are.

Same. Queue times were never that big a deal in NA below diamond anyway. Just enable it for the elos/regions that have high queue times and the leave the ones that don't alone.

It makes sense to enable autofill to cut 10% off of the time when the queue time is 10 mins, because 1 minute is a big deal. Taking minutes off a queue time of 1 minute is useless because 6 seconds is irrelevant. (the numbers I used are arbitrary btw)

I hate to have to explain this but, thats not what I meant with my post. I like autofill and I can play every role, its only that 99% of the times I actually select "fill" for solo queue I am placed in support anyway. Hence I joke that the fill option is pointless because support is an option already anyway.
