That's because Yasuos Q is not an Auto attack. Its an AoE.

Deflect doesn't protect from AoE.

No, its not. Anything that is an AUTOATTACK or enhanced AUTOATTACK (such as NasusQ) is affected by blind/dodge Yasuos Q does apply on-hit effects, but its not an auto-attack.

Because Pantheons Block mechanic specifically blocks all ABILITIES that can apply on hit effects, including autoattacks

The skill description of counter strike says that it does t block aoe damage, but instead reduces the damage.

The only instance in which you would've had a case is if you can find an aoe ability that applies on hits, that is fully blocked by counter strike

Ezraels Q is treated as an autoattack by the games code. So is Parrrley. So is Warwicks ult-attachment.

Its pretty pathetic that I have to explain these things to a "Diamond".

That would be the same website, that still lists both Aatrox and Vladimir as "Tanks", Varus as a Mage, Azir as a Marksman, and Xerath as an assassin.

I could point out more reasons why Riots official Champion - Presentation online is about as helpful for learning the game as watching Brofresco videos, but I think you get my point.

Yasuo's Q is literally considered an auto attack by everyone but you. The game considers it a fucking auto attack because it triggers everything an auto attack does EXCEPT with dodge.

There's no "research" or "logical argument" you can do or have presented that changes this FACT.

All you're doing is either trolling or you are generally so stubborn and/or stupid that it's not even funny anymore. It's just sad. Now go away and come back when you aren't too embarrassed to post on your Silver V main.

Yasuo's Q if I recall applies on hits to the first target hit. So in other words, if jax isn't the first/only target, this is working as intended, but otherwise, it's a bug.

For comparison, Fiora's Q is also dodged by Jax. Yasuo has no business going through his defenses with that skill.

He did have details: Yasuo's Q ignores Jax's E when Jax is the only applicable target, despite Yasuo's Q being coded as an enhanced basic attack.

expecting riot to clear up the interaction of jax's e is laughable. imo, anything thats an enhanced auto attack (that includes yas's q. garens q, ren w, gp q, ez q, trundle q, wukong q) should be blocked. hell the ability should be instant cast if you want to use it that way.

its not instant cast. you hit e, jax does the helicopter with his staff right? for at least a second. if it was an actual counter strike, you should be able to instant cast the stun if you want, like a double click of e. mind as well, like riot has made so many stupid champ abilities now that this instant cast is no different than lissandra snare. hell that would be fine and dandy too, if the enemy didn't auto you within a second its not a stun, but a snare. but you shouldnt have to essentially channel the e

Yes, the reactivation has a 1 second internal cooldown. I meant the dodge being instant.

oh, i was talking the stun should be an instant cast if you want it. like hit e twice, and they stunned right away. there really isn't a reason why it isn't able to.

Oh God. Another QQ thread about Yasuo.. Its your fault because you're trying to trade on the early levels, where he has the GODLIKE trading potential.. I literally STOMPED jax with yasuo because he gave me 2 kills early on.. God stop crying about champiom being OP or bugged. He has received enough nerfs.. Now its just to stun him and kill him ffs.

I hate those threads too, but this is actually not supposed to happen. lots of other spells that dodge/block autos apply for Yasuo's Q because it's considered an auto, but Jax just gets the short end of the stick.

Dodge doesn't work on a lot of things you think it should. If anything this is an issue with Jax and not Yasuo, but complaining about Yasuo is free upvotes.
