For AP champions would it be a good idea to have this build: item 3089 item 3089 item 3089 item 3089 item 3089 item 3089 It would do tons of damage and possibly kill enemies before they even get out of their stun/get close to you??

No, that would be terrible. the 35% ap is unique, so you would only get it from one deathcap. The other 5 would just give you 120 ap, which while nice, isn't better then 80-100ap + other passives you get from other items.
