this new champ select NEEDS to be sped up, and dodging should result in an instant permaban imo or at least give me the option to strangle them through the computer

A permaban? Are you a fucking idiot?
Also, the problem is the "lock in". It's mandatory now and many people are noobs on League, especially the low tier players. Of course they aren't going to figure out how to lock in, and also many don't even speak english which makes it more funny.
They need to fix the lock in crap, but it's understandable cause it gets the player to pay attention, sort of an AFK checker although that doesn't provide much help cause they can always AFK when the game starts and after they lock in, but I get the idea.
