every champ needs counterplay, eh?

Champions like Sion, Veigar, LeBlanc, you know it, all had their "no-counterplay" spells removed (ie Baleful Strike and Sigil of Silence)... so now to play these champions well you have to aim skillshots. Kay, that's fine. Being good at the game is essential.

However, how come things like Janna Lulu (and essentially every other enchanter support) get to be 100% effective through only using point and clicks skills? Literally just grab a Lulu and a Kog'Maw and you'd have to dedicate at least 4 people into killing them both because the Lulu just dumped all of her point and click on the Kog'Maw.

My issue here is where's the consistency? I assume that the difference here lies in offensive point and click versus defensive point and click, but in my opinion, I think that defensive point and click (ie janna shield lulu shield and ult) are equally as bad as something like Zilean's old bomb.

I think the issue is the fear of the power assassins will have with the top peeling supports nerfed to shit.

Because Assassins are basically also point and click bullshit when enchanters aren't OP.

It's one or the other. Either assassins are bullshit for every squishy, or enchanters are bullshit to assassins.

Most assassins, even if they have skillshots, have the skillshot made into a point and click by simply being point blank. It becomes a basic Yasuo Q - Virtually undodgeable, unless you're scripting or extremely lucky. Zed might have a lot to aim with his Q and W, but once he presses R, he gets an easy kill, or he gets nothing. There's no skill expression, there's no way to outplay it. You either have enough health, armor, and shielding, have a Stopwatch/Zhonya's, he's just massively behind, or you die.

ok... so what you are telling me is that you go in a 1v2 and lose because you thought that for whatever reason going into a 1v2 was a good idea right? no all forms of counterplay are the same. Not all forms of counterplay are "can I 1v1 X champion with Y?" you either deal with the healer/shield champion first, force him to focus on someone else or blow up whoever that champions main priority to protect is before they can react.

Sorry but using your logic I should be able to 1v1 a lvl 18 champion that is full build with my lvl 1 champion with no items because that is all counterplay is right? being able to fight against someone regardless of anything. Grouping to diminish certain champions strength? nah! that's dumb. Focusing on a different target? nah that's even dumber! have your tank actually bait out certain spells from the enemy team? nah! that can't be it either!

Well here’s the thing my man. Say for example Janna and Lulu and all other enchanter supports could miss their shields/misplay with them. That’d be great, but to make sure they wouldn’t be underpowered, Riot would have to also buff their shields when they did utilize them correctly, and you’d still be complaining.
