Lee sin was nerfed repeatedly through out the history of LoL. He is pretty well define as a early game jungler that do not have hard scaling. Besides, last time Riot try for a rework on Lee Sin, the community went batshit crazy to rebuke the change. So Riot listen and left Lee Sin kit alone, since the community liked Lee Sin the way he is.

I would disagree on the "not have hard scaling" part, since you can always go back and read his actual scaling on LoLWiki.

The problem that he somewhat falls off (it's only relative to his early, his late is by no means bad in the grand scheme of things) is due to himself being cast based, however that's not saying he isn't viable in late game like actual early game champs who failed to get some kills under his belts during his power spike time range, even if unfed Lee is still a massive asset to ANY team comp.

This guy, should either get a nerf to his ulti so we leave his early untouched and actually punish him for not getting himself rolling before mid - late game, or we rework him.

since the community liked Lee Sin the way he is.

Only those who religiously played him for years.

Hmm, I went and read his scaling again as you suggested. They ARE higher than I thought. But I still think they are not really at the point of unacceptable. I still think its not hard scaling. so we can just forget about this, since it would require pulling out alot other numbers from several junglers to justify each of our claims. (When I said he has no hard scaling, I mean a lot of his late game scaling comes from his utility, since most Lee Sin build 1-2 AD items only unless they are snowballing the game. So I agree with out on Lee being a asset to the team even if he is not fed.)

When I said the community like Lee Sin, yes you are correct mostly are those that religiously played him for years. And I ain't one of them. And I still think I generally like lee sin's way of play. (There was a time when he was stupid strong in S2 where I really want him to be deleted, but that time has passed.)

I think balancing Lee Sin is touchy not only because the community likes it. The LCS pros "like" him, too. Well I meant not actually like, but almost all of them know how to play Lee Sin. So basically Lee Sin is like the one jungler everyone needs to know, which indicate that he has a high hidden influence on the meta of junlgers. (He actually have a lot less now compare to S2-S4, since the popularity has dropped a bit.) By nerf/changing his kit and making him over all weaker, some other junglers that is not played due to being kept down by Lee Sin might all pop up at the same time. And that MIGHT completely reshape the meta instantly. Or it might not. However, there IS that possibility.

And completely reshaping a jungle meta have a cascading effect on all the other lanes, since jungler have huge influence on early game, and early game would decide the rest of the game. Granted this is only the extreme case. I think Riot would rather avoid this. Lee Sin probably won't receive any major changes unless there is a HUGE problem on the pro level.

I definitely can see where you're coming from however,

I believe Lee being the staple of pro scene in itself, is a huge issue. Since you pretty much need him (aside from those who are topping over every others due to superior numbers) to fully utilise a player's full potential due to how much maneuverability, flexibility and versatility he offers couple together with actually good damage and superior early game, making him choking on champ design, balance, diversity and etc etc.

I tbh want him either deleted, reworked or at the very very least, has his ulti nerfed (not number nerfs, take away some of those features).

I agree Lee being too staple for the pro scene might be a problem, but right now he is at an acceptable level? This we will not know for sure, since we ain't pro players. We can only theorize from observing the overall pro-level games.

However, I think if its not lee sin it might be some other champ. And having 1 champion that setting a soft standard gives balancing advantages and disadvantage at the same time. So in the end I am a bit indifferent about it.

A delete is in no way would happen. (If deletion is allowed, can we get a vote on Kalista please? There is so many things wrong with her. Don't reply to this guys, I am just ranting :P)

Rework, like I said people went batshit crazy. Ulti nerf? Maybe, but people will probably go batshit crazy, too.

I think Riot are pretty done with toning Lee Sin atm, unless something major pop up. For me I will just watch Riot and accept any or no changes to Lee Sin.
