Does lux feel more like a support now?
I mean truthfully, ive played her mid a handful of times, but I love playing her support wise, its fun and seems fitting considering assassins now dominate mid lane.

No, I don't thikn Lux is a good support. She jsut needs so much gold to do anything but a small slow field, and root 2 things. The rest of her kit is wasted a lot when on low gold I think
The reason brand support works so well is because (in theory) his passive can explode many times in a single fight, which doesn't even need AP to deal massive damage. Lux is highly item reliant and against better players she will be exploited. Ultimately, I think she's alright in low elo, but gets a bit more difficult as you climb.
Yeah, Brand/Zyra/Malzahar are all really gold efficient.
Lux is a fine support in low elo, but she's not top tier by any means. There are better supports out there.
She does better as a support if you build her kinda like Karma — AP items, healing/shielding items.
But if you want to play Lux to her fullest potential, playing her as a solo laner and building her as such provides most optimal play.
Nope fully stacked
oneshot the adc is the only way, anything else is unacceptable.
Her shield is a skillshot- that automatically makes her a terrible choice for support (imo), where your number one job is to protect and aid your team. I honestly miss my shield skillshot on my teammates more than I miss a freaking bind on the enemy; it's ABSURD.
Still play her support tho, cause I'm a masochist.
