Droogzy1 votesThose numbers represent each ring of explosion. You can get hit by the riptide three times, but the second and third time you're hit, you take half of the damage, 25+12.5+12.5 is 50.
In most circumstances, its very easy to land at least two of the rings due to champion sizes, landing all three is pretty easy to do depending upon champion you're hitting with.
