Mundo Is Actually Worthless Right Now

I was going to write a big post explaining why and how I used to main him as JG on a different account but it's not worth it. Anyone who plays him even in Gold+ over a larger sample already knows this. I just want Riot to be reminded of it.

I like Mundo's current kit but he's just not competitive at all and if you buff his tankiness a lot, he's going to be OP. He needs some kind of skill based mechanic to make him less useless. Maybe if you land 3 cleaves in a row, the next one can stun for 1.5 seconds or something. This sounds way stronger than it actually is. Cleavers have a cooldown and aren't easy to hit either. Think of it like a cleaver fueled Braum passive with no damage.

I wouldn't commit to "worthless" but he is pretty one-dimensional, isn't he? Two steroids, one toggle with a low skill ceiling and one good skillshot. I'm not sure I like your three cleaver stun idea but I agree that he needs something to make him more interesting. His cleavers are infected cleavers. What if his AA's and cleaver skillshots leave permanent stacks on enemy champions that do... something. I'm not sure what. Negative health for every stack, with diminishing returns? Or maybe something that interacts with his other abilities - he loses less health per second for his Burning Agony based on the number of stacks on champions in the AOE?

he's been weak for 3 seasons, not "now". He's actually much better now than last season.

If your opinion is he's worthless then don't pick him. I think he's fine as is with the only issue I have when playing him is the ease of access of early GW for ADCs and the future thornmail changes that I don't like.

Right, so the solution to a shit tier champion is to not pick them. Great idea! I hope Riot uses this advice for all their fanbase.

He talked about jungle mundo which is actually close to 50%. Mundo also has a curved win rate by experience, starts low but goes above 50% with experience similar to Yasuo, Riven, etc.

Jungle Mundo has nearly no play-rate. That win-rate doesn't mean much.
