So to remember that everyone is garbage at some point lets talk about the straight HORRENDOUS things we did while leveling.

Myself and a group of friends was shown League by a friend who was level 23 at the time and boy did he try to teach us [For context we joined in mid season 4 and didnt hit 30 (since this was pre-EXP changes) till early-mis season 5]

I: First Played Kha cause bug thing of death is cool. First BOUGHT malphite because "He is a giant rock thing according to lore so hes gotta feel awesome to play" Proceeded to suck at Malphite because i was at the point where "Why buy Armor and MR since i could build health and cover both bases?" THEN was told i would Like Pantheon but proceeded to go full assassin Pantheon until about level 28.

A friend of mine: Thought Nasus was a Drain tank cause of his passive. Mained Glass cannon garen till level like 20 Thought Dorans items were end game items

AND NONE OF US BOUGHT POTS TILL LEVEL 20

BY GOD we were awful. Good thing in those 3-4 years i climbed all the way to bronze 1 : ^)

Thought ghost made me invisible. Would pop it and run into the enemy thinking they couldn't see me. Thought I could consume people with Nunu. Thought I could smite people. The list goes on.

I was so disappointed when i found out you couldnt consume champs on Nunu.

Although unlike us it sounds like you found those things out pretty quickly. While we were perpetual dumbasses

On my very first game of League ever (also first MOBA ever, had only played RPGs until then) I didnt realize that you could build completed items out of components. I kept on buying ruby crystals and cloth armors because I never had enough gold to buy more expensive items :(

I also was disapointed to find that all my purchases had disappeared upon loading a new game.

I thought item 3078 could be built on everyone because it had all the stats.

Also thought the champion you picked in the first match was who you were stuck with for life, so my first game I played Ezreal. Because he looked cool.

The dumbest thing I ever did was click "download." I was mistaken for thinking this game wouldn't decline. I was mistaken for thinking Rito would be a company that actually cares about their customers. I've seen too many "Ritos" before, by this point I should expect all gaming companies to publicly disrespect their own players. It's a nice surprise when I find a company with redeeming qualities; Rito has none.

Early on I didn't know the strategic value or use of ignite, so when I saw the enemy laner at lvl 1 when the minions crossed paths id ignite and all in them to establish lane dominance or just to get free damage.

I didn't buy items because I would open the shop while walking to lane and couldn't figure out how to buy it because I was already out of the fountain Edit: I got flamed pretty hard most games cause people would say I was a bot but I didn't talk back because I forgot how to open the chat

took summoner 12 andsummoner 14 on Teemo. teleported to the mid lane turret to get into the enemy jungle asap where i would sit and wait to try and kill the enemy jungler. did this every single game in my early teeto days. if i failed i would waltz my way into lane at least 3 lvls behind.

I was really proud because I figured out a route I could use to jungle as Olaf without smite...it involved igniting the big wraith to survive through spellvamp (still died like 30% of the time). I thought I was so clever.........[zombie-brand-facepalm]

You could also accidentally use it on minions in lane if you missclicked...not that I ever did that or anything...

I bought a mana crystal on Zac, thinking that since he has no mana, I'd need a mana item.

Also, started the game playing Kha'Zix. Still my main four seasons later, but hoo boy XD

Used to play Kog'maw with frozen mallet as first item(You slow those you hit from so far away? Must be secret broken strat) built swiftness boots on everything because gotta go fast (to be fair, before level 30 I had a stupidly high winrate because of that, and because I knew how to stutterstep thanks to playing strategy games,)

Also I used Ignite ON EVERYTHING Toplane with ignite, because you win earlygame, midlane with ignite because spells have cooldowns, adc with ignite because I get free stats after i use ignite as well, support with ignite because that's a reliable source of damage when i'll build tank.

I also distinctly remember my friend being adamant about how master Yi is broken, and not only that, he hard counters Ahri, because he as an ahri has to use spells, but master Yi just runs up to him so fast and automatically kills him without having to hit anything.

Attack speed Riven, in my feeble defense attack speed items did give a lot of cdr and ms back in the day (this was before black cleaver)

Also would go 5 BT Riven but that wasn't that stupid at the time cause them babies stacked

I build lee sin with 6 phantom dancers, my friend said it made my attacks hurt more and I didn't know about crit at the time or, any stats really. He said it was a good item so i bought as many as i could.

Also I remember thinking Fid ult would damage towers.
