Either people can't play pyke support by all means or he just failed support idea.

Honestly it doesn't fit with any team combo or just get shaded by all others supports specialNami Soraka JannaNautilus Lulu Leona cause the easy cc, healing, shield and such

So is that because players can't play him or just assassin support was bad idea ?

The way a lot of people play him is to take mobis and use W to roam mid constantly. With celerity and river walker you'll be there in like 5 seconds.

Still in team fights i feel like he just get out shine by other supports special in that match where i saw nami did provide more useful tools than him for her team.

Nami is very much a teamfight support thou, Pyke does have that win, win more, lose fall off gameplay inherent to most assassins. Also I subscribe to the idea that its a mistake to play him like most AD assassins cuz his QE not really that spam able his R is best saved for kills, so you don't get as much out of stacked lethality. Im doing Glacial augmentation for extra CC in lane and item 3153 as a early item. Get a stronger on demand slow afteritem 3144 is completed then combo it into hook/slow hit the stun , Auto for the rune slow, then leap in and Execute for extra team gold during ganks. good bit of CC and the camo W gives you pretty solid ability to set up for it. Oh offtopic but you can use his passive to check for wards as it wont heal you if ones near. I tend to roam and im not as worried about killing or 1v1 as most assassins. I play him to open a fight, then finish it.

I really like BOTRK as an item, its just one of the most cost effective options in the game for some extra damage to your autos with a decent activated and decent stats all around.

So, with the idea that he's supposed to be a roaming support in League of Legends, not Smite where roaming supports is the norm, he's as much of a failed concept as Bard.

^ that is my whole point, he just a worst version of bard cause bard at least can provide some escapes or heals for his adc

I mean he only just came out. People need to find who he plays well with and whatnot!

But still i see in that match that nami provide her team with much more of useful things include healing, shielding, speed and hard cc damage

Tried him one time so far, and honestly I think I failed.

Note to self: do not gank an assassin.

i disagree. it's just people dont want him to succeed.

item 3302 : easily the hardest to efficiently use support item due to having to ALWAYS have an ally to get benefit. item 3053 : the passive does not combo with pykes passive. people dont realize that they have to take lethal damage past mid game in order to proc the passive. yet still people are buying it because hurpity durp 50% base attack damage and 450 hp which turns into a whopping 40 AD and a passive you cant use. congrats. item 3078 - this item is expensive and with your overwhelmingly low base damage and high cooldowns is not going to make it any more useful. item 3071 - this item grants 68 ad and 20% cdr, but you'll never be able to apply the passive and pykes R doesnt need penetration to work. good job wasting gold.

when people finally realize that pyke only needs cdr and sheer damage to be effective... he will start being OP and amazing at support. until then... keep trying i guess?

item 3401 item 3142 item 3147 item 3812 item 3194 item 3800
