how many ap mid laners need to run attack speed and Attack damage runes to effectively CS pre 6?

and by "need" i mean LCS players take attack speed and attack damage runes for the champ for CSing reasons

i know of at least one, (which i will post at a later point in this thread) but since i don't play a large variety of champ i want to ask other because i decide whether or not this is a "balance issue" that would warrant that champ to be buffed. or something that's usual for AP mage to have a really hard time last hitting.

I don't think any of them NEED it but it's an underrated move. I take AD marks on some AP mids to augment CSing. Malzahar likes them a lot before he gets his aids-train rolling.

Back in the mists of time I used a full flat AD runepage on ADCs for perfect CSing and hilarious level 1 surprises.

so your saying that the champ that does need it should get an attack speed/ damage buff to compensate for the fact that they cant?

No what im saying is i know how to cs well enough that i don't need AS/AD to farm.

and my point was if an LCS player (who are you know pretty adept at CSing) thinks its better to get attack speed and attack damage runes on the champ rather than something like AP runes. i think if THEY decide that building attack damage and attack speed is better then they really DO need it.

especially when you consider the same LCS player did NOT take attack speed or attack damage before that said champ was nerfed in attack speed and attack damage.

becuase frankly i cant CS for SHIT anymore on said champ post nerf, and when i find out the LCS players are taking attack speed and attack damage runes to help CS because it's THAT BAD. that it might a buff..

becuase imo if an LCS player takes attack damage and speed runes on a full AP build champ JUST so they can CS better. i think that saying SOMETHING about how horrible that champ is at CSing..

Or. It just makes auto attack trading more favorable and you don't rely soley on spells. maybe it isn't just for CSing but for better attacks on the enemy to chip down there health slowly with it while CSing. If you can't cs with a champ elarn to. Or just take the runes. runes just help early game.

My guess would likely be Anivia. Possibly Viktor.

vik has pretty easy cs'ing once you have played a few games with him.

Orianna and karthus have the lowest base ad, but orianna has her passive and karthus farms with q's...my guess as to who the op is talking about is twisted fate (low base ad, kinda crap AA animation for cs'ing and benefits from AS thanks to his E anyways)

Viktor farms using enhanced E, TF has easy CSing with Blue cards and his animation isn't that bad (i do very well with ADC TF farm wise)

Soraka has pretty bad animations and low base damages.

I can farm with TF well but he was just the best example I could think of.

Soraka is played support, very very rarely as a solo laner. And her AA farming tbh is easier to get used to than Twisted Fate's.

There isn't really an AP champion that "requires" AS or AD marks to farm...

I don't think any amount of runes could ever make Swain bearable
