Yesterday I queued as support/jungle, I was given support and placed with THREE OTHER support/X

They got their secondary despite being support primaries. This means FOUR support/X got into the same team... do we really need such a high rate of auto-fill? here is a link to my stats/the game in question (The first one with Janna) http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Dominick%20Destine Know that I am not lying.

I don't mind playing support in solo queue, but others most certainly do and given an occurrence such as the one stated, I get the sense that the matchmaking is the culprit in this scenario rather than being a casualty of the populace's choice.

Auto fill isn't just for supports. It tends to be the role you get auto filled into, but jungle and adc aren't so popular either.

As a jungle main that regularly see's people ask me to trade for jungle, I find your suggestion that jungle isn't popular to be ludicrous. But you are probably right about ADC.

I mean that's a personal isolated case. Mid and top are the highest contested positions in League. Jungle 3rd, ADC 4th and support 5th. It's an extremely rare case to be autofilled mid or top. I don't mean to say jungle isn't popular, it's just not as popular as top which isn't as popular as mid.

Very well, I would like to see where you are getting your statistics.

Because anecdote implies trend.

Because anecdote implies trend.

I don't remember stating this was a trend.

The argument was "I get the sense that matchmaking is borked" but feel free to continue to fight against strawmen.

Is what you said after my quote.

The auto-fill is because of a trend, and one anecdote doesn't have much bearing on that.

What's your point?

The auto-fill is because of a trend, and one anecdote doesn't have much bearing on that.

I don't remember making the argument that "this is a trend based on one anecdote", the argument (for the third time) is "I get the sense matchmaking is borked". Your second strawman argument is noted and dismissed.

Fine, let me try again.

It might be in this one scenario, but I'm not sure that one anecdotal incident is enough to affect how we consider autofill to work considering the usual scenario is a lack of supports, not a surplus.

If you had a larger sample size of too many support mains stacked on one team, then your argument would be a lot stronger, but one instance can be written off as an outlier. Collect data from multiple games, organize your data (I recommend games where there are no support mains, games with more than one support main that got autofilled, and neither), and report it again.
