So why is Zed allowed to one shot me through a steraks shield?

Why? I can't even build mercurial scimitar or Qss to counter him anymore. Why did RIOT think this was going to be okay?

You mean one combo, that's different than one shot, Zed doesn't one shot anyone unless there's a huge item and level difference but any champion can do that

idk maybe you'll have to build zhonyas or GA until riot decides to shift zed's power from death mark

Every video of one shots I've ever seen never has a true one shot. I thought at this point a "one shot" meant killing them in one combo. It was incredibly infuriating and it didn't help that even if i built GA he'd just sit on top of me spamming his emotes or something until i respwned

The very least Riot could do is introduce an item that gives AD and armor. Not necessarily AD either. Any mix of amor and AD, AS, crit, or lifesteal could be reasonable. No armor item gives any of these stats.

Because buying a single item shouldn't:

Allow you to facetank an assassin's damage AS A SQUISHY CHARACTER
Completely invalidate someone with a single item purchase

And lastly; Sterak's does help against him. It doesn't mean you can facetank him.

I wasn't facetanking him. Id dodge at least 1 or 2 qs, or Es but hed still one shot me. He was doing 2500 damage in around 2.5 seconds
