Devourer change is going to devastate junglers that fall behind and not hurt snowballing ones.

Devourer current issue you want to fix is that people are getting it too early right?

Then nerf rift herald stacks to 3 and dragon to 4 or reduce scuttle to 1 stack. This will change the progressing time of sated without making it harder for teams to make comebacks.

I really don't like these changes to make comebacks harder.

I hope the following patch pushes it to 50 stacks.. I hate this item.. Theres only a few champions that actually use it regularly and they tend to abuse it: MasterYi XinZhao Jax Shyvana Udyr The only 2 junglers who get sated that don't feel like abusers are Nocturne Warwick .. and thank god Kayle has shifted out of this.

Most of the times, the control over the scuttle crabs and the dragon at the early stages of the game depends solely on how the lanes are going. If your allies are pressuring their lane opponents, you get free map control of the river. This allows you to farm more scuttles, buy your Devourer sooner and get your stacks much faster. The small lead that your team gave you early game can snowball into a huge advantage. Anyways, if we decided to lower the value of scuttle crabs and epic monsters in terms of Devourer stacks, there would be less interactions between players: the devourer junglers will just afk farm in their own jungle till they get sated. Imo, Devourer shouldn't be nerfed: it's a risky strategy with plenty of counterplays, in fact it's never appeared in the LCS and is extremely rare in high diamond and above.

really shouldn't be buying the stacking jungle item when you're behind.

unfortunatly Riot doesn´t care that neither snowballing nor getting snowballed are fun in the long term...apparently they will just wait till everyone finally jumps ship and then it´s too late to change their mindset about it.
