Say I wanted to see what my ally Ivern actually does I click him then hover over his abilities to know what they do.
Or im fighting vs Kled and I want to know why he has a double dash and how it works.
My Sea Cow1 votesI think honestly it would take too much time away from gameplay....you should be reading up on the champions as they are released, or during champion select if you're not sure how they work. If you don't know how every champion works, my best suggestion is to spend an hour or two and read about every single champions abilities. It's worth it in the long run so you know what to expect if you ever play against one
One thing I could see it being used for would be seeing ability cooldowns. I understand you can just control-click to put the cooldown timer in chat, but you're not going to do that in a teamfight, and, for example, if a team-mate is waiting on your stun to engage, it'd be simpler for them to click on you and be able to see what the cooldown on it is, and if you're able to use it.
DrCyanide1 votesIt should be available in game or in champion select any time you feel like checking it. Just as nothing forces you to read your own tool tips in game, nothing would force you to read theirs.
Having simple tooltips available for all champions, available at any point, actually lines up better with Riot's long term goals for the game. It really should be added.
My Sea Cow1 votesit is available in champion select...or at least it was from my knowledge unless they removed it since me coming back from my 4 month break.
DrCyanide1 votesAvailable for Blind Pick, but I don't think I've seen it since they changed over to the new champion select.
paisy1 votesI think that's a waste of resources. Playing champs while they were free helped me learn how their kit works and improved my knowledge of the game. Plus it doesn't hurt to take a few minutes out of your day to look up champs you're confused about.
