lux is one of the champions who has the least deaths on champion gg
something isn't right for a squishy immobile champ
something isn't right for a squishy immobile champ
She's the epitome of backline mages, if you're dying a lot with her, you're doing something wrong here.
Riiiiiight
Except that same champ has long range abilities, a snare, a shield, and a slow, as well as barrier being a completely ok spell to take on her.
Range+cc is more safty than any mobillity+melee
and she actually isn't that squishy, her shield is massive. She has more effective health than Diana if we asume same level, same runes, same gear and same rank of W...
Lux is a pretty well designed champ IMO. She has clear strengths and weaknesses, she is helpful to her team but still does her own damage. Also, she is the only champion I can think of who is easy to learn and play despite her kit being entirely skillshots, yet you can easily tell a good Lux player when you see one. Even when she is strong (like she is now) she somehow doesn't feel gimmicky or unfair to play against.
Kind of like Orianna and Ahri.
A super long range champion with an aoe snare and a shield who takes barrier and stays as far as physically possible from teamfights as she can while still throwing her spells in has a low death count? Sounds about right.
-Lacks mobility, has high range + CC, good waveclear. especially late game. -Her e is pretty weak early game but at the cost of it having extremely high range -High mana costs
"lowest deaths"
she's a backline mage and positioning is crucial when playing Lux.
because lux players have learned from their instant death to stay in the back.
Lux knows full well that getting caught out and dived on is instant death, unless they get a lucky Q.
It's more a matter of her playing to her strength. It's not like she is yolokaze'ing her way through the frontline and slaughtering
