Katarina, Kogmaw, Kassadin, Orianna, etc. Build luden's -> do massive damage and gain move speed and also your damage AoEs

For the Ludens Echo Passive to do 200 damage you need more than 600 ap it seems balanced to me.

I guess it is because it sort of fills the whole what the removel of DFG did. Altough my personal problem with the item that it is the strongest on thoose champs who absolutely dont need indirect buffs and weak on the ones who actually need help from enviroment to balance rito's fucktard balancing (karthus-anivia-malz--brand and thel ikes).

Ludens is pretty absurd lol. The fact that you can build it on a champion like Nami and end up doing as much damage to champs as a standard build Orianna is just silly.

The item has actually ruined ARAM for me. Literally every mage builds it and just hits the wave with some ability, splash damage on your entire team for 200+ without even going into range or worrying about aiming a skillshot. Stupid.

I killed a Lux with 2 charges of my ult as Xerath. I was support Xerath and was level 16 to her 18, down a full item. She was full HP, I took a shot in the dark and it somehow managed to land, did about 2/3 of her HP after ludens proc, then second shot killed her. I was so dumbfounded I forgot to shoot the third charge and their ADC got away because of it lol.

Item is easy to balance - just make it like Shiv. Flat damage. Honestly, why the hell does this thing scale with AP?

It was the same for URF, everyone was building it, even AD champions would rush it and build AP.

I'm just glad people don't seem to realize how strong it is even on SR and don't build it, only seen it built once so far.

I think one of the biggest issues with Luden's Echo is that there's no mage you wouldn't want to build it on.

DFG wasn't as effective on mages that wanted to stay further back and poke, or who got their full CDR from somewhere else.
Luden's Echo provides extra burst on poke oriented mages, as well as close range assassins. It also provides move speed, which counters a weakness many mages have inherently.

I'm not sure it's "game-breakingly OP", but it does seem to be very strong on a wider audience of champions.

I wouldn't say it's game breaking, but it certainly is on the strong side. Especially considering it's relatively cheap cost compared to the other 120AP items.

It also has some extremely good synergy on some champions, but people haven't figured that out yet. Not worried about it right now, but I am worried about it going into the future when people figure it out.
