Keeping Zed and Talon in their current state with the upcoming AD assassin item isn't a smart choice

Like literally, you said that adding burst to already bursty kits was the reason DFG was removed, why give these two more burst on top of their already really good damage? Talon has almost no counterplay in that sense so he's either going to be permabanned or instantly nerfed. I just hope that they see it coming and take appropriate action to these champs. Others might abuse it too.

It's insanity that they'd even consider an AD assassin item at this point. I don't need to see my mid laner or ADC blown up faster than ever. I want to see fucking Mundo/Amumu/Rammus die.

Notice how tanks win rates skyrocketed after MR became free as shit? What this game needs is a way for mages to deal with tanks once again so they can stop being immortal late game with one MR item. A single one is 70 MR, they just build that and then build every armor item so even ADCs can't touch them. There needs to be a % total health shred AP item, I know the zero Elo shitters are scared of those words, but it's the only way to deal with tanks without squishies being blown up faster as well.

Abyssal Scepter and Void Staff are not enough. They don't even work well together since penetration and reduction aren't the same thing. Abyssal's flat reduction is calculated before the % penetration of Void, making it less.

You know what else would be nice? An AP item with armor on it that doesn't cost half your game's total gold. 1050 combine cost on Zhonya's, might as well delete it.

That went a bit off the subject of AD assassins, we all know they don't need help and that AP champs were hit too hard minus the high base damage DoT ones which have been OP as shit for 4 years (Brand, Malz).

We already went through this with Warlord's Bloodlust and the Critmasters Yasuo Tryndamere. We all saw that they were going to be broken. We tell Riot. Riot ignores it. Riot is surprised when it turns out that that makes them broken!

Zed will still be forced to get ghostblade and BotRK first unless he's miles ahead before he can even think about that item. Have you seen it's build path? You get a Dirk, a BF Sword, and some gold. Say you go back with 1150 gold, you get the dirk. Cool, now you need 1300 more to get the next part of the item. It's build path is absolute trash, and you're not going to be able to get it early on. Also the debuff can most likely be qss'ed, so that's a double whammy for Zed. Zhonyas also still exists for a double whammy as soon as he hits you.

Why are you even mentioning Talon? Whoever he goes on is going to almost 100% die in half a second anyways. If Talon has enough gold to buy this item, he could have bought something else and still 100-0'ed you, but since he has the new item and not a Black Cleaver it's time to nerf Talon, right? Even though you would have died regardless if he was fed enough to have the new item over another one?

Last Whisper is almost always a trash item now since it's so situational as well. They won't be killing many tanks with this. It helps against the squishy champs mainly, the ones they are supposed to kill.

I think people are forgetting that if someone has this item, the next person they hit is someone they need to all in because if they don't, they just wasted the passive for 60 seconds.

Example: I buy the item on Zed. I auto someone to poke them as they walk by, because that is a bad place to all in someone at the time. The passive is now gone for 60 seconds. It is an all or nothing item. If you accidentally hit someone else before your main target, then that also is going to make the passive useless unless you can kill them both.

That doesn't mean the item isn't good, but that's something to think about. It's not up 24/7, and relies on you actually being snowballed and farmed so you can kill people to keep it off cooldown.

Keeping zed/talon/rengar in their current state isn't a smart choice. Adding an item AND keeping them like they are is pants on head retarded.

Zed and Talon are both pretty meh right now from what i've seen. Talon in lane is always oom and Zed is close to useless outside of lane.

Talon will likely end up with nerfs if the new "Shadow's Dagger" (My own personal name for it) goes live as shown by Riot.

Talon has stated that he needs a gameplay update to allow for better counterplay against him.

Zed will likely receive a nerf to his passive or his W steroid to account for the item.

The comparison to this vs DFG is actually quite intensive.

1)DFG was a point and click Item active, Shadow's Dagger is a passive that's applied to the first target autoed when it's available, making it much harder to trigger reliably and offering windows of opportunity.

  1. It doesn't amplify incoming damage at all. All it does is deal a % of the target's missing HP as Physical damage after 2 seconds. This means you have to deal about 80-90% of the target's HP in order for it to be lethal. It doesn't amp damage, it doesn't do anything to change damage output, all it does is allow an assassin to hopefully FINISH OFF a target that would otherwise have gotten away.

3)It's not a Tankbuster. In fact, in order for the passive to kill a tank, you have to auto a tank that as 3-5% HP. It's damage is reduced by armor. And it only grants flat pen. This makes it designed for busting squishies, NOT tanks. Old DFG did 35% of the target's Current/Max HP (Generally cast at the beginning of a combo, meaning it would almost always nuke the target for a HUGE chunk of damage) then also amplified any further magic damage over the next few seconds. This won't do either of that.
