You can always prevent anyone from getting kills on you early, but most of the time it means you have to sacrifice CS and if he gets decently farmed he can just roam bot and kill your adc.
It's happened to me countless times. I can win vs zed easily too, but it's really annoying how much effort I have to put into merely staying relevant while he can dick around and still survive situations any other champion in the game would die from.
Nobody likes playing against Zed for the same reasons nobody likes playing against Lee, LeBlanc, and Fizz. Those champs give up nothing to be among the safest in the League while still one comboing you.
Can't wait till Zed mains start saying "just buy Zhonya's" to me as Ashe to defend their freelo main.
The tl only thing I wish they nerfed him on would be his wave clear. An assassin without mana shouldn't have the wave clear he currently does. I think that is the most frustrating thing about zed, you try and farm and he will shadow Q killing an entire wave and chucking you for about 30% or more.
