So lately I've been noticing a lack of Veigar's laugh every time I play him. I was curious enough to test this on my own just now.
I just got out of the custom game testing this. Farmed Q a bit, and made the bot fiddle low enough for my ult to last hit; it killed him, but Veigar didn't laugh.
Please fix this, Riot.

I sure am! I don't make the call on the name of the skins, I'm involved in making sure the skin itself looks nice and functions properly.

While that's cool and I really appreciate the response, I have to say that it would also be nice to have posts like these in the respective threads proper (talking in general here, not red post whoring for my own thread :P).
I mean it's just a bit puzzling to see a thread that almost gathered 100 upvotes (on a board where popular threads usually gain around 30 upvotes) where people voice their opinion and then no Riot response whatsoever. Even if it's just a small post like "forwarded it" I think it would really make people feel more like their feedback is at least noticed.

Why is this necessary? Sona threads have been clogging up boards since the nerfs first arrived on the PBE. Why can't those with answers take notice themselves? It seems the only explanation is that they literally never visit the boards.

I can understand your frustration.
While I don't have the answers to why Sona was nerfed, I can try to explain why it hasn't been addressed. With that being said, I've gone ahead and looked up a popular thread, and sent it to the team who's responsible for the balance changes.
Winter break happened shortly after that PBE update went out on December 15th, which meant a lot of us were out of the office either traveling, taking some time to visit family, or celebrating the holidays! That meant a lot less of us were checking the boards.
In addition, many PBE changes aren't totally explained since things on the PBE aren't always 100% definite. Tentative content does hit PBE, since it's a good environment to see if changes are good, and will be a positive change to the overall game. Should these changes make it to the live environment, they'll likely be explained in the patch notes.
I'm not trying to make excuses, just trying to shed light on the Sona example specifically. And again, I've gone ahead and passed on one of the threads to the proper team. :D

You notice how Riot Jag is at -14 points on that comment? (at the time of this writing) That means 15 more people disliked him coming to the boards to not really answer something than were glad he was there.
Sona being nerfed wasn't the only point of that post. Metaworldpeace10 was trying to figure out why champ A gets a nerf, while champ B won't even be commented on. Why does Leona (who has 3x times the game played) and Janna (who has 50% more games played) have a higher win rate in the past month but Sona is the one touched?
I love Riot, and I don't want to sound toxic. But when the player base asks for communication they don't mean just swing by and say "hi". I don't know how many posts I have seen using Red Tracker where it seems the Rioter totally missed the point of the post in the first place. That is the most frustrating part.
I know you (as a company) are trying to not use a Community Manager. You want everyone to be able to talk to us, and we love you for that. But you might need a few, just to funnel the hot topics to those at Riot who understand an issue and can bring knowledge to a post.

Because, while it's admirable that you're scoping out popular threads and forwarding them to the right teams, that's not in your job description (to my knowledge). But it should be in someone's job description.
Also, when you're in the client, come stop by the CommunityPlatform chat room! Most of the time it's pretty quiet, but we have a really nice atmosphere where every so often we'll have really, really good conversations with Pen, Tamat, & friends.

Nope! You should still be posting bugs under the Report A Bug thread. We read through those daily, and although we don't respond to all of them, we do investigate them.
5G8Nri0B541 votesI don't want to sound like an entitled brat, but...I think you should, or at the very least have some sort of function in the forums that lets players know that someone in Riot has read their report even if they haven't replied.
Especially in Bug Reports, there are thousands of bugs in the game and you are only 1 in a sea of many. Just because you claim to look at each one and investigate them doesn't make the notion that "they missed mine because I'm just one in a crowd!" or "they missed mine because they haven't addressed my bug in 2 years!" unbelievable.
Some sort of "your thread has been read by a Rioter" tag would be nice so you don't have to make multiple threads reporting the exact same thing hoping your reports been seen.
PS - YES, there ARE bugs I've been sending to Bug Reports for a year or more and I still haven't seen them addressed in any patch notes! 
and 
all have a crippling GAMEPLAY bug that screws them over unlike a laugh upon ulting bug. I'm waiting for the 3 of them explained why they aren't bugs or atleast fixed some day, but I stopped reporting after a while due to getting tired of seeing the bug persist this long and still not get fixed.

Katey this is why the Lux fans are still hounding you and every other person they can get their hands on. Dodging the question like you currently are is just another slap in the face at this point. Lux fans were told that SLL was the wrong direction, that Riot was sorry they didn't catch this, and that Lux would be bumped higher on the list than she would otherwise be for a new skin.
When it comes down to it, Riot always says "___ champ is not forgotten." and that is Riot's cop-out of "We know, we know. Now stop asking us OK?"
And I'm sorry but if you can't tell us if there is/isn't a skin in the works, then get permission or find somebody who CAN give us that much information at least. We're not asking for art, or what the theme is, or when it will be done.
All we want to know is that there is one that is being actively worked on, and if there isn't, why not?
