Can I be allowed to punish Irelia for catching her out, please?
It's so frustrating that no matter how hard she's stomped, come mid-late you just have to accept that she's going to do Irelia things. The fact that this hilariously mobile bruiser is so bursty and allowed to function off of so few damage items is offensive enough. But for the number of times I watch someone outplay her by catching her dash, or that I've outplayed her by catching her dash, in a teamfight, only for her to be completely unpunishable because she presses W and ignores half of all incoming damage for the next eternity until her rotation is back up, meanwhile any attempt to punish her means you're giving her team free reign to dogpile you and bail her out. But if you don't focus her, then she's now smack dab in the middle of your team with her E, maybe her R, ready to throw into you and start her reset dash BS all over again.
Why does Irelia, when being outplayed and intercepted, get to force you into this lose-lose situation, on top of being able to function of an already extremely durable build of
+tank ? Why does she have a better Meditate that can't be canceled or disrupted? Where am I supposed to have agency in dealing with her outside of just picking a champ who has obscene amounts of true damage?
The damage reduction needs to go down over the duration or something; there's no reason she should have such a strong soak spell when she's so damn slippery to begin with.
