I don't get how do people enjoy playing top lane anymore...

Top lane was my shit in s3-s4 when I could actually play Wukong up there. Then s5 came with maokai being in every fucking game and no matter what you did in lane, he was always more useful than you in teamfights. Then the juggernaut update came and I literally couldn't even cs against darius. Then fiora rework and I wanted to pull my hair out playing against her... Gragas and Galio apsolutely destroy your identity as a champ when playing Wukong, simply by pressing E. Same thing with Renekton and Trundle. They just build tanky and out damage you. Sad thing is I can't play Wukong anywhere anymore, so for the last 2 season, I've been just maining support. I miss the carry playstyle. I don't enjoy playing any of the mentioned tanks so I just fell out of playing up there. Top lane is just pure frustration for me.

I can't feel bad for a Wukong players given he has one of the most binary, low counterplay kits in the entire game. Your champ sucks because he steamrolls everyone with no effort when he's good. Sorry.

because that dumb champ heals off of my clone too. it's not bad enough he can bully my ass with that dmg, but he heals twice as much against wukong.

This isn't even the issue with the match Wu-darius. Darius isn't hellish even for Wukong. I think u complain to much cause u aren't used to toplane since u spam shieldish support.

But yeah, its hard to play Wukong top. To win u need to be twice stronger than usual.

Bro, I don't know if you play wukong or not.. but I have 2-3k wukong games and darius is your worst match up. Ask any wukong main. Like I don't understand what you're talking about. You go for cs, darius pulls you in W's Q's and you have 30% hp left. You literally cannot farm. Then he just builds cleaver tank and out damages you in every way. You obviously played against some dumb darius players.

Like, allorim the best wukong world before he stopped playing him, thought the same... recently on reddit a million mastery wukong said the same and I always hated playing against darius with any champ, especially wukong. I really don't see how is darius an easy lane, when all he does is bully melee champs while fucking healing. Which other champs are worse than darius then ? Renekton is the same shit as him. I'd really like to know then what are those "not nearly bad as some other match ups". Its awesome to see a challenger guy with wukong btw. I'll definitely check his games and shit. It's only eune doe amirite. xd fuckin' hate hearing that.

there's a misunderstanding here. I never say he was an easy matchup. The only thing i argue was about u saying darius was the worse matchup for Wukong.

Fun fact, Rose blade pointed Renek as one of worst matchup for Wu (i definitly agree)

Wu definitly need (and deserve) a rework. I totaly understand as top can be frustrating mainly as Wu player (top role is frustrating alone to begin atm).

There is no point in trying to get 10 cs/minute on toplane anymore. Even if you doing good as a bruiser like wukong, if the enemy team has a lulu or janna with a brain, you will be useless in teamfights and will be forced to splitpush or try to set up a flank.

I know what you mean I play top most of the time, Darius is just insanely over powered in laning phase being a melee champ against him is a automatic half cs, fiora has an insane amount of damage and healing. Renekton can easily melt you with one AD item The list can go on and on with top lane champs. I think the biggest problem is the fact that these champions except for fiora can easily burst you done with one AD item, mostly due to the fact that their base damage in their kit is way too high

Lethality Wu is actually pretty decent right now. you play like a bitch till you get Duskblade then you roam and 1 shot mid lane.

Wukong is always "decent". But his laning is sh*tty, his jungling is weak. If ur ennemy is decent u won't be able to roam without losing ur tower.

Wukong aside though there have always been tanks top that you just can't interact with (Mundo has always existed and noone has ever liked laning against him, boooriiing).

It's always been either a skirmish lane or a farm lane. You can look back to the olden days where we had like Naut top and Malphite top just having a staring contest, among other offenders.

You might need to take a break from the game.

I stopped enjoying the game and took a 4 month break from league during season 6. Sometimes ths game will drag you down and you are best to take a break.
