If teambuilder was still available, I would buy Jihn
But as it stands, I know that if I buy him in the first week, he will always be banned in dynamic (He's being banned NOW and he's not even out) or picked up before I can get to him, and that if I play blind, I will get beaten to the punch by someone who's cpu loads the screen faster than mine, every single game. I know I wouldn't get a single game with him before the week has passed, because riot removed TB.
Yes, the queue time for a popular champion in TB is long, but at least I would get it eventually. Sometimes, I just want to play a certain champion in a certain role, and not let anything interfere with that. Teambuilder fulfilled that beautifully. Now, however, I think about playing, and I'm like, "Eh, the odds of me getting Leblanc Mid are just terrible." Or "Eh, first-picking kassadin is just gonna be a nightmare." For the past season, we've had 4 different queues, and there's literally been no problem with it. People are begging for teambuilder back, because it's just not the same as dynamic queue. I like dynamic queue, but I miss teambuilder badly, and we haven't gotten a single redpost talking about that, other than "Dynamic queue is better for X reasons". It's also fair to say that Bard is a better designed champion than Thresh, but that doesn't mean we just delete thresh; we still give players the option, because some people have fallen in love with the system, and to take it away for literally no reason is just a slap in the face. For a company that claims to be community oriented, riot is sure ignoring the community on this huge, gamechanging issue.
